Morons - smoke bombs & pitch invasions

No. My main concern is the few hundred thousand they could've chucked down the swanee. But apparently we're loaded or something so I'm over-reacting.

Few hundred thousand, stone me whose on the board handing out these fines Rockefeller?

The Pigs went on the pitch smacking women, children nod opposition players and only got a £60k suspended fine which was never paid.

I can't say that in years to come I'll be saying "Forest in the Cup? Oh, the match with the flares and the pitch invasions? I remember it now"
Funny that how people have already quoted the Wendy game with the flare. They seem to remember that. What was that score?

Right I wasn't going to post this on an open forum due to the potential trouble for the club but seen as the majority of it is being discussed here goes. Just after the first goal I felt something hit my back and looked round, somebody behind pointed to the floor next to my daughters feet where there was a fire work that exploded right next to her. Thankfully she wasn't hurt at all but she was so upset we had to leave early, she was absolutely terrified and is considering never going again despite having been a season ticket holder for 5 years. We missed the 'magic' finish but I don't care, hopefully somebody will be caught and banned for life, we could have been looking at a serious injury. Whoever did it I hope you read this and turn yourself in.
Get in touch with the safety officer tomorrow at the lane and get this person caught and banned.

I thought it was about £300k when we had the flare into the Wednesday fans issue before. I think it was suspended but we were forced to spend about that upgrading the CCTV system. I can't find a news article now to check.

Pitch invasion after the final whistle - fine, I couldn't see anyone getting hassle for it.

During the match and with the other stuff going off - it's just encouraging "them" to chuck the book at us.

What pisses me off more than owt is that a great game and memory has been spoiled by these NUMPTIES.

So rather than celebrate and emphatic win and a place at home in the quarter final you'd rather concentrate on a few fans celebrating on the pitch.

In all fairness when Porter came on the chant "when Porter sores, we're on he pitch" so you could have chosen to leave at that point, or did you join in?

The chant was a lot louder at Fulham, and eventually changed to "anyone" but we didn't spill onto the pitch before the game finished.

What time did i post that?

Definitely report that. I hate people who do stuff like that, they should not only be banned for life but face criminal charges. It's only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured or worse because of these idiots.
Well they did it to a child v the pigs 11 yrs ago..no way will the FA forget that...sadly people like these give SUFC a bad reputation.

Agree. There was probably about 2 to 3 hundred and most of them will have been part timers. The club should ban the lot of them.
Anyone on here prepared to give anyone up or admit they were one of the numpties?
Pure conjecture unless you know the match attendance record of all those who celebrated a great win on the pitch.

Seems to me some on here seem to be missing the point.

No one has any problem with fans getting a bit giddy.

But....

Flares, fireworks etc.. landing at little girls legs in our end and in thier fans(not sure if this came frome Blades but we do have history) is not on.

I saw a few trying to "offer out" some of the Forest fans on the pitch at the end.....not very good and could lead to fines etc..

Still a great day....so elated as I thought these days had gone!

:)

I had a ticket but was actually in hospital with pneumonia so I'm sad to hear of the stupidity that went off! Where there any Forest fans in the home ends and if so did that lead to trouble?

I ran on my back garden, fag lit up and shouting like an idiot.
Walked back in and our lass said`do you realise youve just scored a third`
I really should stop smoking.
You can expect a fine for invading the back garden with your handheld flare and made to follow the next match behind closed doors on twitter;)
