Morgan's first team

Do you think Morgs will make some changes for Saturday? He obviously doesn't have any different players to bring in (except Robertson who has scored twice for the U21s recently), but will he go with the same old style or make changes?

The only way we are going to do anything now is to go all out attack and maybe dropping those players not in form, but will he go with the younger players or just shuffle to older pros around - Robson and Porter for Kitson and Doyle?

I'd like to see Ironside have a good run out with Murphy in the middle and McFadzean and Flynn on the wings. Would Doyle be dropped for Robson or Whitehouse?

Even though Collins and Maguire made the mistakes on Tuesday I'd keep them, Hill and McMahon as the back four.

I'd expect a solid but not really forward thinking defence with the aim being to get the ball their box as regular as possible.
Hopefuly TWO attack minded CM (we are the home team who needs to win) and TWO wingers willing to run at their full back and get crosses in.
If this was the case I wouldn't even complain at a front two of Porter and Kitson as they are both good in the air and capable of scoring the scruffy goals as it pings around their goal.

forte seems to be the whipping boy atm.. does a lot of work chasing down defenders while kitson is reffing the game.. murphy is a headless chicken

I'd go with that too. Maybe look to bring on Ironside for Porter later to give fresh legs and the opposition something to think about

Difficult for Morgan. If he makes drastic changes such as changing the front 2 and we get battered, fingers will be pointed at him. However, Forte was abysmal and must be dropped. I would also replace the higg with the hill. I would also recommend having a few shots.

I think it's harsh to single Forte out, I wouldn't even suggest he was one of the worst performers. McFadzeans time will come, but he did nothing in that half an hour to suggest he should have a starting berth. I fear it's that classic feeling of 'the grass MUST be greener' but Forte did enough, however I'd have him out wide and Murphy in the middle personally. The big change I would make is Robson for Doyle. No point in having a holding midfielder when we need goals.

Just T-Mac in for Higginbotham and Robson for Doyle, however I am pretty certain there will only be one change and that's the former.

I'd agree with Whitehouse starting in place of Doyle/Robson.

Not necessarily because I dislike Robson, but I think a central pair of Whitehouse and McDonald has more balance.

It appears Chappell has been recalled - and going by Alan Knill's comments, may be involved straight away.
