Sheffield United player linked

According to The People paper, Coventry City have been linked with Sheffield United's Chris Morgan.

The 28 year old appears not to be favoured by United boss Neil Warnock and could be allowed to leave on a permanent deal when the transfer window reopens in January.

Southampton, Hull and Wolves are also reported to be interested.

Wouldnt say no to selling him if we get a decent fee. Although he is a useful back up at the moment for jags and davis.

He was linked with Barnsley again yesterday, can't remeber where I saw it tho.

Think it would be a bad move to let him go permantely unless we got someone else in.

Kilgallon anyone?

Blades ace bound for Molineux? Mon, Oct 09 2006 13:50

Sheffield United defender Chris Morgan has emerged as a loan target for Championship rivals Burnley and Wolves.
The 28-year-old has struggled for first team opportunities since the Blades' promotion to the Premiership last term and has previously been tipped for a return to former club Barnsley. However, with the Tykes turning their attentions elsewhere, Clarets chief Steve Cotterill and his opposite number Mick McCarthy at Molineux are now preparing offers to tempt Morgan to drop a division.

Looks like wolves want him aswell.

No way, we can't just let Morgs leave, he'd been doing a sound job in defence apart from the Reading game.

i like morgan but like davis n jags at the back alot more lol

i heard doncaster was after him

yea i heard donny(my home town) were after him. He's a soldi defender generally tho, the last game I was around for was the Blackburn game and he looked pretty solid at the back.
