Ok this isn’t happening but to play opposing council.
  • His style of play is much more suited to sides who have more possession he’ll have that at a lower level.
  • Forest aren’t a good option, and his standing and reputation will not be improved with a season there unless they outperform all expectations like we did. Everton look like a basket case and are likely to be so for another season while Frank tries to sort it out.
  • His options would be strengthened with another season as one of the top performers in the Championship where it’s likely he would shine. Players like Bowen and Armstrong stayed for an extra season and got moves to higher level and better PL teams.
  • While obviously at a much lower level, he’d earn the same if not more on his new contract.
  • He apparently loved it here and had a real affinity with the squad. That could be entirely bollocks put out for our benefit at the time but watching him and his reaction to playing for us I don’t think it’s entirely heart ruling my head.
  • We were close last year and without Slavs start it’s likely we would have had a good argument that could have gone up automatically. He’s coming back to essentially the same squad, potentially strengthened.
  • He’d rather come here than Forest.
😆 🤣

Some brilliant points there. Well done.

It's a toughie, going to play hoofball under Heckingbottom away at Preston and Stoke on a freezing Tuesday night or running out at Anfield, Old Trafford etc playing for a bigger club. He's practically chairman of the Steve Cooper fan club as well having played twice under him.

If we get MGW back and keep Berge, we go up this season. I can't see any of those 2 things happening unfortunately :(

I think we may finish in or around the play offs without them or adequate replacements.

UTMB

"United want him" in the sense that, if Wolves for some reason said "hey guys, do you want Gibbs-White on loan again?" we'd obviously say yes.

We won't be actively pursuing him, I'm very confident on that.

Bit like me ‘wanting’ Margot Robbie.

I know.
I guess the concern running through your head is given everything you said why hasn’t he signed? I mean there must be a reason you’ve been unable to secure what would be your best player?
Can you imagine being you if he signed for us instead, you’d look a right cunt and wouldn’t be able to post on here again? 😂

He can either have another season in the championship now with us, or put it off a year and have one with Forest.

It would be quite romantic if he came to play at a club he feels appreciated and wanted but I don't see it happening.

Maybe he feels like he owes us. Missing that pen and letting those horrible nottingham wankers win is probably eating him up. No way will he go to those scabby little tramps

How is this hoofball nonsense still a thing, by the way? It's utter rot, trolling or otherwise.

It's since Forest finally woke up after 23 years of being non-descript. In that time, they've managed 1 cup Quarter Final and 1 league one promotion.

In those 23 seasons, United have finished higher in the pyramid on 13 occasions, with Forest higher on 10 occasions (6 of those years, we were in League 1).
We've been to 7x cup Quarter Finals and 4x Semi Finals.

Yet all of a sudden Forest are the world's best team again 🤣. Fuck me, I reckon pigs have seen more success than them in last 20 years

If they get MGW and Henderson it'll be quite a sad day for us. Both of them have had success with us in recent seasons while avoiding the confidence-shattering pummelling of 20-21.

I'd hate for them both to have to experience that next season...

I've seen some shit trolls in my time but none of them have been as fucking boring as this Notts Forest fan. Is this standard of Wums these days? Surely the government should be doing more to improve skills in this area
He’s doing well. Every time he posts he gets loads of reactions. If people ignored him he’d get bored and fuck off.

Everton can't afford him, their finances are woeful.

Forest are/were a one season "wonder".

Welcome (back) to Sheffield MGW 😄

P.S. Thank you to Teamtalk for ever reliable reporting.
Everton just got about 60m for Ricarlison so I reckon they'd be good for 20m+. Also that means there is an obvious vacancy in their team. We can look on what might have been with Gibbs-White and Calvert-Lewin!

That's Forest and us out. Far better to go there though Wolves must be wilfully blind not tl at least give him a chance.

I don't post as often as I'd like, mainly due to poor health.

The MGW saga reflects well on the player - gave everything in every game, had moments that were inspired (also made clangers of decision making but I'll forgive him as his overall contribution was so good). The fans and squad loved him and we saw what can happen when a player who's obviously talented is given their head etc etc etc.

Wolves appear to be a well funded club, they're in no rush to offload a player simply because we're eager/desperate to have them back. So our manager and scouts (I assume we actually have scouts who actively search for better quality players). All we can rely on is the build up of good will between both clubs to make the player's return a possibility.

Personally I found the player's enthusiastic, no lost causes attitude, a refreshing change from many other loanees we've had. Which brings me onto our financial planning. Much is made of the monetary benefits of becoming a Prem club, but the flipside of this is that you therefore have agreements that demand to be paid no matter where you end up, remaining a Prem side or relegated with all this implies. Clearly we're at a serious disadvantage as our owner is someone with the type of acumen that allowed him to outwit the previous owner who was out of his depth when it came to retaining his controlling interest in the Blades.

Bottom line, without an owner who is loaded the financial benefits of becoming a Prem club are far less than many supporters imagine them to be. I know I'm stating the obvious, but all the while we are shackled with an owner who cannot divvy up the funds to help this club progress and compete as we'd all hope for.

Rant over, no intention to upset anyone, but the Forest wummer who imagines he's living the dream, well old son, wait until you've played 10 games and then let's see how well equipped your team is to survive at this level?

Why is this little scab still posting on this forum. Remove him now or I will take things into my own hands
As others have said though mate, if he's ignore and no one repsonds he'll soon go back to winding up Derby County fans or someone else! Fair play to Forest, they got promoted at our expense and I'm sure they'll make a fist of the PL. Whether they stay up, who knows, but they'll be signing decent young players as that's what Cooper generally does from his Under 21 days.

I would actually have thought that MGW is very similar to Brennan Johnson and I'm not so sure that those two in the same team will work in a team that needs to be tight defensively. Both can play well on the counter but I expect that the new guy they've signed from Germany will be their first choice alongside Johnson. Maybe MGW behind but that's bold from a team who's just got promoted.

I really hope MGW doesn't go to Forest though, he can do better and that is no disrespect to Forest. If we got promoted I think we'd have struggled to sign him also, but he knew the squad and manager/coaching staff and loved his time here. That would have given us a chance even with our threepenny bit wages!

I'm starting to wonder if they are all the same person.
Everyone I've encountered online has always been exactly the same

Thick as shit

On rivals forum at all hours of day and night including bank.holidays and Xmas

Always including laughing emojis at end of post to indicate how hilarious they think they are

And last but not least a mental age in single figures

Hope you feel better soon Alf, or at least feel better more often.

MGW should be playing games for Wolves really. He needs to be a regular at a top 10 PL club.

If Wolves don't think MGW is ready for them yet, they're grossly underestimating him.
If we had a player like him 3 seasons ago we'd have finished in the Champions League spots. I'm absolutely certain he'd have been the difference.

He would have been the ideal Duffy replacement first season back in the PL.
