I'd suggest they were ruined before Parkinson took over. The reality is Scunny, Fleetwood and us have all got benefactors who are allowing the club to spend more than they earn, just like Bolton. Only three clubs can go up so somone's going to lose out and it could be them.
Bolton have overachieved for years and usually when that happens, it's followed by a period of underachievement. That's what's happening to them now. Outside the PL, where TV money is a huge leveller, attendances still matter, if you don't have parachute payments or a generous owner, and their attendances, for a championship club, are poor. They're a mid table championship club at best.
Wash your mouth out.

You can't say that on here. If it wasn't for that asset stripping, cash stealing , robbing bastard club owner we would be challenging Mars for the inter planetary stellar super cup!

;)

A very fair summation of yesterday's proceedings. Shame he can't spell Bramall correctly.

That was an enjoyable read. I guess Bolton's fans are like most others really. Some of them are arses and some are not.

As for Phil Parkinson, he has been caught being a mardarse but he is undoubtedly seething about Madine and needs to take his annoyance and frustration out on someone else. He also knows better than anyone else that Bolton's promotion hopes are becoming dimmer, which means that his chances of having a job next season are receding, unless Morecambe or Halifax find themselves looking for a new boss. No wonder he is in a bad mood.

And to think we were supposedly entertaining him not so long ago. What a load of utter tosh.

Still he'll never reach the heights of cuntdom achieved by his little shithouse assistant Parkin.

Completely inaccurate with the "open chequebook" bs. Wilder has sold Calvert Lewin, Ramsdale and Che for millions and only brought in our goalkeeper for anything approaching a large fee - 300k. The rest of our signing have been on frees or low fees as we have exploited the financial situations of other clubs, (Bury, Cardiff) and the contractual situations of certain players (Fleck, Hanson). This is a complete deflection from PP's own failings as he has had much more to play with .They've signed Beevers, Ameobi, Henry, Le Fondre and managed to retain many big names until January or the end of the season. Every player they've lost has been replaced by a big names on huge wages. They also turned down January bids for Vela.
Chris Wilder has significantly reduced our wage bill, whilst increasing the value of the squad. He has a large net transfer profit after the sale of three talented kids. People shouldn't use this to attack the owners as our club loses millions whilst its in this division, but to celebrate Chris Wilder's stewardship of the club to date.

Most extraordinary

We dodged a bullet when he was mentioned in connection with our managers job in recent times. Bolton were the worst side to come to the lane this season and made no attempt to play football. They just kept falling over at any minimal contact and their only chances came from the free kicks which they illegally won. They had no real chance throughout the game.
The definition of alehouse football

If they lose at Fleetwood too (I can't even see Wanderers getting a win at the very least) he won't be able to use as many excuses as he has done here will he the bitter prick?

Uwe Rosler should be able to get the better of the HOOOOOOOFFFER King!

To be fair, not that he deserves us being fair, he is not going to say that his team were totally outplayed and outclassed by us as his job and urgently needed club investment depends on it.

And next season [assuming he's still in the job] he'll be up against Wolves and Blackburn and it will be much more difficult to get out of the league.

It must be a team trait to tweet whilst pissed. Glad he didn't get the job at the lane, bitter little bawbag.

What has this tunc ever actually accomplished?

He's still living off his cup run trip to Wembley with Bradford a few years ago. He's nothing special at all and every whinge & whine about the result yesterday is a compliment to both the Blades & Chris Wilder.

At no stage in his interview did he give us any credit for beating them, that can't be good for his team, reminds me of Adkins, another bullshit artist. I hate it when they try to kid their own fans. He can put it over however he wants, I'll take the 3 points thanks.

Shows a total lack of class. Whatever his gripe on individual incidents his side were outclassed and 2 0 was the least we deserved.

Reminds me of a crapper version of Blackwell.

I thought Bolton looked strong but really lacked creativity.
It looked obvious that their main tactic was to win freekicks in the final third and create havoc from set pieces. It probably did us a favour that Madine didn't play.

If Wilder was their manager he would have said something like,

"We've come to a very tough place where teams usually sit back but i felt we have the quality to be positive and have a go at them. You saw in the 1st half it was quite even apart from an excellent finish by Sharp. In the 2nd half we remained positive trying to take the game to them but the penalty, which I thought was soft, killed us off and they ran out comfortable winners in the end. Although I felt we matched them for long periods I was disappointed that we had promising positions but constantly failed to work their keeper. We must show more quality with the final ball.
But we knew it would be tough but now we forget about losing to a very good Sheffield team and we now comcentrate on the Bristol game Tuesday. We will have Spearing back and hopefully with a strengthened side we can stay in contention to finish in the top 2, still plenty to play for and we remain positive".

Such a thing cannot exist, surely. Its like calling someone a shit Dean Hammond

I think the first half was very even and they did have a bit more of the ball in our half, but I always felt they were trying to stop us from getting the ball down and playing. They could only keep that intensity up for so long and second half as soon as we got the ball down and started getting the passes together that was it.
