POLICE are hunting four thugs who stamped on a man's head and left him with a broken jaw in a city centre attack.
Officers say the group of white men attacked two men on Matilda Street and have released descriptions of the four they want to trace after studying CCTV footage of the assault.
One was 6ft 3in tall, aged 30 to 40, of slim to average build and had, dark brown hair. He was clean shaven and wore a black jacket, dark jeans and white shoes.
Two of the men were aged in their 30s, of medium build, and 6ft 2in tall. One had long blond to light brown hair and a beard and wore a dark t-shirt and jeans while the other had a bald head and stubble on his face and wore a white zip-up jacket and dark jeans.
The fourth man was aged around 30, stocky or chubby, 5ft 6in to 5ft 7in tall and had dark, spiky hair. He wore a white t-shirt with the word "Monty" printed on it and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about the incident at around 2.30am on Wednesday, October 28 should call PC Philip Roberts at Woodseats Police Station on 0114 2963666 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
Yet more excuses for old fat face.
Though I reckon if 25,000 of us acknowledge that we've never seen Monty connect with his target in ten years then he should get off?
