There are two issues here though.

1. He's had a dreadful year personally with losing people and had his first child. It's right for the club to be flexible and try and support him.

2. In over a year he has not been fit enough to play 90 minutes of football. That's a huge worry. We can't keep carrying a player we have to sub every game.

Second child.

It's very rare any of our strikers play a full 90 minutes to be fair to him, and he's played 80+ multiple times.

You missed out the biggest issue/ factor.

3. In spells he‘s shown attributes to make him the best striker at the club.

That’s the reason Wilder is being understanding and patient....if we get him fit and firing he’s a massive asset.
As mentioned by others....you can be supportive for only so long....then the ball in his court to show desire.
Moose is still young....let’s support him for now....and see what he can bring to the table next season.

Agreed, but I'm seeing nothing this season to suggest we're likely to see a sudden improvement on the fitness side. If he can't regularly play 90, and as noted above he's not alone with our strikers, then I can't imagine he'll be starting regularly.

Dare I even ask if he's in Scotland?
