Reckon he would have come on if the game hadn't already been lost.

At 1-0 it wasn't lost. And there was only half an hour left.

Utterly bizarre from Wilder today.

He got the selection wrong in the first place, and despite having FIVE subs to use completely wasted the option.

Maybe he was trying to prove a point to us with his favoured paceless front pairing? Well, the point hasn't been proven Chris. Maybe be less stubborn.

Something not right. He should have got at least 30 mins on weds and started today

Wilder has given more playing time than they deserve to Berge, McBurnie and Callum Robinson - who we spent decent fees on.

We spent decent money on Mousset too but not only is he never given a chance, but Wilder seems to make an effort to take the piss out of him. Despite him offering FAR more when on the pitch than any of the above.

It might be an idea for one of the journos to ask Wilder about him. And it might be an idea for Wilder to be at least slightly honest.

Can only think we’re wrapping him up in cotton wool for the Man Utd game - makes sense given the game was gone when he decided to hook Sharp anyway.

Yes, but he should have either started or come on at half time

Sharp and Mcburnie will never make an effective partnership that's for sure. Too slow, no threat in behind or in the channels. If the rationale is "we expect to dominate so want our best box players"; well, you have to achieve part A first.

By not involving Mousset, Wilder is probably only demotivating him.

I wonder if he's considered that.

Either way, he doesn't seem to know how to manage him.

For me, Mousset needs to be starting as many games as possible from here on in. We always look a better team with him in it. Whether there is an injury or not I dont know. But he is one of our best players and at some point, we need to give him more to do then simply sitting on the bench.

Games will improve fitness and sharpness.

And while he's gaining that fitness and sharpness he sure as fuck can't possibly be offering any less than the other strikers.

Maybe the reason he's not getting gametime for us is the same reason he didn't get gametime for Bournemouth

Didn't he come on against Villa?

Hardly 'not featuring' is it?

He's looked in great shape.

He's either shagged Wilder's Mrs, shat in his shoe or simply upset him with his above average pace.
O all three.

Had to shout at TV today when commentators were saying what a good job Bruce had done given the team he’s inherited. Ffs how much Joelinton, Almiron and Saint-Maximus alone?

cenrtainly better buys than CW’s though.

He's not as effective against teams that sit deep and attack on the break as Newcastle did today imo. Against manpoo where they will come at us, his pace in behind will be where he will shine.

I'm tired of the view that pace is only useful in certain circumstances.

Simply being quick enough to get to a 50/50 and pressure defenders before their second touch is a benefit of pace.

It's not only pace with Mousset either, it's strength and skill, and shooting ability. The ability to occasionally do something not totally telegraphed and predictable...

He looks a lot leaner since when he was banging them in before Christmas I really don’t Understand what moose has supposedly done wrong
He looked like the best thing since sliced bread now hes banished to getting 10 minutes max when the games gone.

Why is he not starting he should be , bad selection from wilder along with freeman getting 0 minutes when he looks our next most dangerous midfielder by a mile and berge in the wrong position which now means people think he’s shite cause he’s playing the complete wrong position.

Why bother signing panos the send him back after playing 0 minutes makes me think that these signings aren’t been made by wilder

Based on what ? He gets 0 chance against teams who sit back.

From what I’ve seen he’s been our best striker and goal threat this season by a long way

He didnt come on today as he will be upfront on his own on Wednesday against man u wasnt worth risking today once we went behind.

And when he touches the ball twice in 90 minutes cause he’s chasing shadows no doubt he’ll be slagged off

Reckon he would have come on if the game hadn't already been lost.
Whilst I wouldn't disagree with your reasoning doesn't this go against the general consensus that CW/AK will "give it a go" under any circumstance. If this is so, maybe there maybe more to the situation than the "eye" can see.
Whatever is said about the two games since lockdown it's for sure we have returned in a state of flux both players and management, It seem l as though the forced break as not done United much good.

Looks like he's still on his holidays, assuming that's down to Covid?
