I'm pretty sure you're referring to Glyn who I remember from one of the Sweeny's on Staniforth Road, where he used to cut my hair for about a year. He now works (and has been for years) at Menzone on Mansfield Road, Intake.Going back to the most interesting part of this thread - Sweenys. Yes I used to go when they were next door to Suggs. There were 2 blokes Graham and Glen (or was it Glyn). when the arcade closed they moved to the Castle market where I continued to use them. They then expanded and had several shops all called Sweenys but with numbers so Sweenys 1, 2 etc. Think they had 4. One was on Ecclesall Road opposite the original Champs. The two partners then split and Graham had the Ecclesall Road Shop and Glen had one or more of the others but soon after I think most of the others closed. I think Sweenys on Eccy Road still going?

The fat, lazy bastard.
His legs have gone.
Needs to relax his shoulders more and take shorter stridesThe fat, lazy bastard.

Its hardly a full pre seasonI'm excited to see the Moose after a full pre-season and after spending some time in France to hopefully help overcome/cope with the personal issues he's had.
He is everything we need in a striker, and the reason I believe we only need to sign one top additional striker this summer.
He’s cutting mine tomorrow!I'm pretty sure you're referring to Glyn who I remember from one of the Sweeny's on Staniforth Road, where he used to cut my hair for about a year. He now works (and has been for years) at Menzone on Mansfield Road, Intake.
Isn’t he too young to have been at the original Sweeneys? He’s cutting mine tomorrow!

I'll go along with this, he needs to beat 6(six).Moose will bag a career best return of goals this season.

I thought I’d try Sweeny 5 when I moved to Millhouses about 10 years ago and was served by a lady I later found out was Russian. Everything was ok until the last few minutes when a bizarre conversation took place:There were 5 or 6 at one point as I used to use the one at Millhouses next to Abbey Friar chippy and I'm sure that was Sweeny 5. It's still there now but not sure how busy it is.
When I used to go there were about 8 or 9 different stylists all pretty working solidly all day it was that busy.
Elite athlete & Frankie Dettori in same sentence as the MooseWell if he has come from France he will need to quarantine I thick its eight days for elite athletes It is why Frankie Dettori is not riding at the York meeting
Fucking hell, Large!I'm pretty sure you're referring to Glyn who I remember from one of the Sweeny's on Staniforth Road, where he used to cut my hair for about a year.
That’s your head on the chopping block then!!Danny Ings had three seasons of relative inactivity mainly due to injury and in his first full season back only recorded 7 goals. His second year back he got 22 goals.
Moose will bag a career best return of goals this season.
Judging by his Instagram he's still in France...
tbf he has been training with Le Havre to get ready for this season whilst most of the other players have been on holiday.Yes. Still nobbing about pretending he's in rap videos with his mates.
Meanwhile the lads are busting lungs on the training ground to be ready for next season.
Sadly it doesn't look like clicking anytime soon with Mousset, which is a huge shame given his considerable talent.
I think we should keep him for another year as he offers something different off the bench. After that, this time next Summer - final year of his contract - I see him being shipped out. Back to France at a middling club where he will continue his decline.
Hope to be proved wrong.
