CONFIRMED Moose gone

I still think he is our most talented striker on his day and if fit would be unreal in this league. When he has played i think hes always looked our biggest threat.

Sadly his fitness was shocking and he is rightfully being phased out. He gave us some incredible moments in the prem, lets not forget that! I know others are happy to see him go but i’m the opposite if anything a little sad/frustrated it didn’t work out for him here.

On the plus side though hopefully jebbo can add more than Moose’s token 60 mins every 4/5 months.

Good luck to him.

He was and is a complete and utter slacker. Came unfit- got fatter. Didn't respect himself the club or the fans. The minimum we should expect is fitness. Never gave us more than about 15 mins if we were lucky - you cannot possibly defend such a shoddy worker.

Glimpses of what might have been aren't anywhere near enough, we want players who live die and breathe for the cause. Billy has more about him in his left toenail than Moose will ever have in his whole body. Good riddens- Jebbo is way better..

Wilder, Slav and Hecky have all said the opposite about his character. When interviewed and questioned about him they always said he was traing hard to regain fitness, committed and putting in extra hours etc.

Jack O Connell- in an interview said the joker in pack was Moose, the player that got fined most for turning up late- Moose. Choose the dialogue to suit your own narrative- but with my own eyes what I saw was no athlete- blowing out of his arse after one run every time, the type of run that someone like Harry Kane does say 50 times in a game.

Fact - Moose never started and ended one game its laughable we paid this joker terrific money to do FA.

Those who witnessed his 15 minute debut at Matlock Town would beg to differ. He was absolutely enormous and most Blades were totally gobsmacked at just how unfit he was. When the ref blew the final whistle he collapsed on the pitch blowing heavily out of his arse. Everyone was saying the same thing. “Have we really just paid 10 million for that?” Huge talent but ultimately he’s wasted it

Shame he's gone, best striker at the club in terms of potential ability. Mooses issue seems to be the antics off the field. Fair enough hecky, wilder etc praising his dedication and ability to regain his fitness.. but why put yourself in that position time and time again.

About the only thing you can say for Moose is his goals in our Prem return season probably paid his transfer fee so he was worth the £10m we paid but when a player has never managed to complete 90mins then you have to look at if he is worth his wages sadly with Moose he fell way short. His contribution after his first season with us has been pitiful.
A wasted talent who will always be the joker who will never grow up and put a bit of graft in, sad but let him fuck off with his little pirate flags 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️✌️✌️

I suppose you can frame it either way, i personally don't think being a joker means that he definitely couldnt be arsed more that he was a valued personality within the squad/changing room.

When he’s played he's been lightning quick, he certainly never had the stamina/endurance needed for a full 90 mins of high pressing but he was certainly athletic, explosive energy.

Who’s done his medical and passed him fit. There’s been some Saturdays I’ve lasted longer in bed with the missus than he has on pitch when starting………..both pulled up with muscle injuries………a groan from those watching on sidelines in disappointment. 😂

How many other players are there that we've signed for a fee and they've not completed 90 minutes? I thought of John Ebbrell, any others?

I'd say his career with us is over. A shame really he has the talent but with is off the field antics and his over eating he has let Sheffield United down badly, the club and staff have shown him a lot of patience and understanding which he has thrown back in their faces. Good riddance, talent is no use when you can't get it on the field.
Sorry mb but I don't think he has the talent. He tries to do what he can't, and can't do what he should be able to...most of the time.

Where do we stand contractually with him? I know his current deal expires in the summer, which would mean that his career with us is now over? Or do we have an option for another year?
For the avoidance of all doubt given this has garnered some laughing reactions, I don't want another year of him!

I'd like to say "bye, don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out," but it probably would as the fat twat would get stuck in the doorway like Winnie the Pooh!

The Yorkshire post said recently he wasn’t liked in the club. I know for a fact that he was fat-shamed by the rest of the squad to try and get him to look after himself, he didn’t give a toss though.
Funny how he posts pictures of him getting fit when he’s out of contract in 6-months , I think his bank manager has had a word.
More talent than most at the club but will achieve less most of them I think.
Him on a private jet highlights all that is wrong in modern football imo
