I think he’s a really good technical player from the little I’ve seen of him. Good to have someone more defensive without being an outright ‘stopper’.

Shame we didn’t get the cover for RB and RCB that would have been afforded by someone like chambers - it did always look like he would be required by arsenal though.

Hopefully there are no hold ups. It really is an indictment of football that clubs fuck about until 2 seconds before the deadline to finalise stuff.

He played 39 times for boro last season so I’d guess he’s over the worst of his injury history

Ans I don’t reallt think there’s much point judging a defensive midfielder on his goal tally. He’s going to be brought for what he can do at the other end of the pitch
