I was just going to say Beans he is a defensive midfielder. That's exactly what we are after, although admittedly I know next to nothing about him.

A good, busy player who would certainly more bring energy and tackling into the mix. He has a card or 2 in him though.

Good that CW is obviously after a DM today - an obvious gap in the squad.

It will be interesting how CW will set-up. Perhaps a right footer who is able to put a foot in but is also able to get up & down the pitch would be the best fit and replace Lundstram who obviously struggles to do that role, would be the best fit. From the bits I've seen Ndiaye would seemingly be a good match.

He is a defensive midfielder but he has a habit of getting forward quite a bit.

Sounds like perfect cover/competition for Fleck & Norwood to me. Would prefer a DM in the mould of Norwood (good passer, comfortable on ball, bit of bite in the tackle) rather than a big sh*thouse who is primarily an athlete. I think we need to stick to the principles that have got us this far.

I am now seeing people saying that Besic was one of Boro's more creative players last season so maybe they were using him in a different role. More chances created per 90 minutes (1.8) than Adam Reach and John McGinn, and only slightly behind our boy Duffy (1.9)...
