Haven't we taken the grand total of 2 points so far this season for fixtures at the weekend?

Those Blades certainly know how to cheer up their fan base at the weekend. No wonder we are mostly all raging alcoholics at the weekend.

Just the weekend? Before March 2020 I'd got meself into generally doing without booze Monday to Thursday, unless there was a midweek game. Combination of lockdown and our season means I've had about 5 booze free days in 12 months!

Wilder must be able to do some sort of trickery, to make the players think that it's a midweek night. A bit like Bassett used to have the Christmas party in the summer.

So, for a 12:30pm Saturday kick off, Wilder gets them all out of bed at about 1:00am. Bit of breakfast, then put the bins out. Watch Homes Under the Hammer at 3:30am then a spot of lunch. Pick the kids up from school at 8:30am, watch Pointless. Just as the music for Corrie starts up at 11:30am, put the kits on and get warmed up, with the floodlights on full and a massive SUFC banner blocking out the sun.
