I don't follow why a player in front of you affects the way you distribute the ball further forward? We're surely not questioning his ability to pass the ball 10 yards?

I don't see any problem with his distribution, though no doubt it can improve. It's the idea that it's in some way Wilder's fault that's nothing short of laughable.

We would have to replace him and how much would that cost? £15m wouldn’t be enough. To even begin thinking about it seriously we should be looking at a minimum £25m and if we had any sense even that wouldn’t be enough.
