Your first job is not to "give everyone a chance and see what they can do". Do your utmost to move on all the big earners, or cut their pay by 75%, immediately.
NONE of them are worth it.
Adams may have failed, but make no mistake, the players did too. And the majority are simply not good enough.
Be decisive. Clear the decks. You have nothing to lose. Nobody will be significantly missed. Those who will be slightly missed can be replaced for a fraction of the money.
There are no hero's who will risk your neck when you bin them. Leave no stone unturned.
