The coach once played for us around 3 years before the pic was taken. The bloke with his back to camera near AS was a defender who didn't really break through, I think he played a few games though.

Slightly off topic but it's pretty crazy to think the magical season of 02/03 was 10 years ago! I doubt I will ever see a Blades team as enjoyable and exciting to watch. A real shame we never got promoted and it ended how it did but what a fantastic team!

Awesome season and in fairness done on a reasonable budget. I think I'm right in saying that Brownie was our most expensive signing at aroun 500k from man city. In fairness to brownie he's not had a better season since.

That team epitomised team spirit.

Cheeky bastard. I had an excellent season in 2005/06 when the Blades went up, and another excellent season last year

John Curtis! I forgot about him, I thought he did a decent job for us.
If I remember correctly, Shauny Murphy left us at the end of this season to go back to Aus because his wife became I'll. Does anyone know if his wife made a successful recovery? Great defender.
