Apparently 'our' Tony would love to stay at Blackpool according to Blackpool's site.

Can someone make Tony's dream come true?

I know today's game saw two new loaned players on the pitch, but I hope Nigel already has it in his plans to at least try and make Brayford a permanent signing. It'll cost, but then quality does cost, and we'll see if the Prince is prepared to back his manager's judgement. Hope so, as the lad is just what we could do with.

Only worth offloading him if we can sign Brayford permanently.

We don't want a situation where we sell and then the player we have on loan gets recalled.

listen to this after the blackpool game he spoke

Seems like he just wants to play Championship football.

Can't really knock him for wanting that as I would imagine most in our squad want that as well ideally.

Last week McMahon was on Radio Sheffield almost begging for a new contract at BDTBL. Now we are led to believe he wants to stay at Blackpool. I understand that they have to make a living but some players should stop and engage their brain before speaking.

Especially when they are now playing for a club without a manager. The new man might not want him at all

Brayford makes you realise how shit McMahon really is. Bit disappointed the Harris hasn't had much attention ,overshadowed by the other 2 I suppose but I was really impressed with him ,great clearance off the line too which saved game.

Must admit I must be watching a different interview with McMahon to everyone else.

That said though Brayford does seem a much better player and he has a cool beard.

Please buy him Blackpool. He's not shit, honestly! He's been our best player all season! We need the money! 500k and he's yours!!

Hasn't Barry Ferguson got the job till the end of the season?

We won't get a penny if his contract's up this summer - McMahon will be loaned till the end of the season and then leave for free.

McMahon is another player who hasnt lived upto the hype.
A few goals from set pieces is not a big enough contribution from a modern fullback.
He will probably be on good wages as well having signed on a free..

McMahon was average, but didn't like his attitude. As people have said, not in the same class as Brayford. As to whether he goes permanent, depends how serious we are at bringing Brayford in full time and whether he would want to.

Don't think we'd keep McMahon next season anyway. Not worth the money he'd want. Even if we can't sign Brays, may as well let McMahon go if we get any money for him. Doubtful Blackpool will be daft enough to pay a fee though.

I don't normally like to reply to myself, it makes me feel lonely, but it's sort of along these lines and I've left it too long to edit my last post. (Edit: Bladesman got in before me so now this part makes no sense)

Whilst I am glad McMahon has gone because I thought he was dog turd, it was disappointing to hear an interview with Brayford where he seemingly showed no interest whatsoever in staying with us after his current loan ends. Something along the lines of him wanting another go at the Premier League because he hasn't been given a fair crack, which is fair enough, but then going on to say that this is just a loan move and he didn't seem interested in staying afterwards. I just hope we don't get left with nobody to play at right back next season

I am now worried we could be in a situation with a lot of loans that all could be called back at anytime thus leaving us in the shit.

I'm pleased he's gone, as I will be when the other experienced failures go (you know who you are). But it's impossible to be happy until we're safe and sound.

Once we are we'll have a blank canvas for Clough to paint his footballing masterpiece on. :)
