Great, thanks Roy.

Good to see George seemingly commanding his box well (albeit just the one game) as that's the one thing I thought was severely lacking in his game for us.

Sounds like McGahey had a shocker but Tranmere fans are probably (understandably) frustrated with how their season has gone...

Cheers Roy, both need games...hope McGahey has a good un next time, if he gets a next time..

The one thing?? I'm afraid there is a lot more than that. He's not going to make it, mate. No amount of wishful thinking will alter that.

Severely being the keyword in that statement.

And make what exactly? He's playing professional football at the moment and is on a professional contract...

He's not going to be first-choice keeper at SUFC.

In that case, I distinctly remember you saying Kennedy has no hope of "making it".

Maybe sometimes they can prove you wrong?

Yes. Well done Terry Kennedy. Shame that people have decided to decry the excellent JayMac simply to justify his selection though isn't it?

You have, of course, forgotten Ironside, McFadzean and Chappell. I was, naturally, the first to reveal the uncomfortable truth while the rest were still singing their praises. We can talk about DiMaio, Diego and Otis Khan if you like...Cruel, cruel Cloughie ruining their stellar careers just like he's done with Hughes, Kendrick and countless others.

"Ironside....Ironside...."

Both are young players who have not caused SUFC any issues and both appear good professionals . Whether they make it with the blades or not , i wish them luck in there careers.

Jake Wright made his debut for Ilkeston by coming on as a sub against Frickley. Obviously not a great deal of 'View from...' But there was a comment that he looked useful, similar to Ash Hunter - a player Ilkeston sold to Fleetwood in the recent transfer window.

Hope he continues well with his development
