I went away and thought about this from McCabes eye view. It's a very good question, how do you change the incompetence without changing the owner making the incompetent decisions.

If I were McCabe and I realised I was making an annual fuck up of things by removing managers and making stupid decisions I would get someone in whose strength was making good football decisions. I would remove myself from the decision making process. I would still ultimately be the co owner but I would stop being responsible for doing the same thing and expecting different results.

To be fair to the McCabe family , I can think of 4 individuals who they have put total , 100% trust in , and perhaps with blind faith , been totally let down .

The penny will have finally dropped for many this season and if nothing changes the gates will bomb. This will finally give him the excuse to bemoan the fact that Lane is not maintainable on current levels and to save what's left of the club, we will need to ground share with Chesterfield until a suitable initially 12k capacity box stadium can be constructed down the 'Cliff.

To help fund this wonderful gesture, King Kev will 'sadly' need to redevelop the 'Lane, but HEY, once we get into our new home with its new shiny seats and with extra money in his back pocket, he will then assure everybody that we'll be in great position to move forward and God willing (with a bit of luck) eventually get back up into League One.
