He left us to go abroad then went to Hull move on
He went to hull after we attempted to sign him. Whilst in that process, parts of the fans thought he were shite/not up to it. I think it’s pretty pertinent to point that out. Did we move on when we got rid of Wilder? Think it’s valid conversation Taz. If you’re not arsed about talking about it “move on” 😉

I am not in the wilder fan club .But mcB decided to move on and try something different we then tried to resign him again and he still did not want to sign for us .I was all for getting him back but he did not want a return

Pretty sure we offered him pittance compared to what Hull offered. Think that were mentioned on here around the time.

Hull have created almost double the chances we have and put in almost twice as many crosses per game as we do. Glad Ollie is doing well, but he wouldn't be doing it here. Hull are set up for his style of play, we aren't.

What style of play are we? A target man we really short of and now we are lightweight upfront. He has matured and can play that roll well and also play deeper to upset central defenders! He would make a big difference! He's also good at attacking the ball from opposing corners something that is missing since he left.
He has been a frustrating player with all the niggling injuries he's had while with us.A lot stronger player now who defenders hate playing against.
The owners were playing hard ball at the time we showed interest ( tight with money).
It's certainly come to bite em on the arse as when the window was closing we decided to invest and have paid more I think for the players we signed due to the late entrance to the market.
For me Mcbernie would have been a great signing and if Hull are open for offers in the next window i would sign him.
He's a shithouser but a good one.
Has Bamford not signed for that
Spanish club !? he would be usefully as we are so lightweight up front .
This is going to be a grind and pulling away from the bottom is not going to be easy.
I blame the owners for this as Sellers had no chance with the players he was left with! having said that he was totally lost ! his lack of experience stood out a mile.
I imagine he will say thankyou for the gardening leave money ! He will in my opinion be frustrated at being sold a puppy thanks to the nievity of the owners.
Just who was advising them!? If anybody as this situation now leaves us with a battle to stay up.
Just how do experienced businessmen flop so badly.

How do you know he didn’t want to return ? Honest question
