I think McBurnie just needs the "rub of the green" he needs a spawny one to go in he seems to be looking for the "perfect goal" every time, which in truth seems to be United's mantra. When at Lane especially they should be hitting opposition GK with long range efforts as can lead to spills which, can be taken advantage of.
Someone with sense ! You only have to watch the game and see for yourselfYesterday was his best performance this season
All round top striker performance all he missed was a goal
Absoloute nonsense

I like your glasses pal .
I'm sure wilder knows better than me you and Dronnie owlPlank of wood knows more about football than dronnie blade
Oops I meant BladeI'm sure wilder knows better than me you and Dronnie owl
Such as?I am not saying that he has been a rip roaring success, but "Wilder's worst signing" ?
Come on mate. There are a few outright flops that are miles ahead of McBurnie for that accolade.
This is classic McBurnie though. He has one of these games once every 5 or 6 where you think - wow, he's actually got something about him.
Next week, he'll probably be back to languid McBurnie.
I've just heard the gaffer say that McBurnie was "outstanding"In which case, he has been out of form for 90+% of the time he has been on the grass.
Categorically NGE and for all reasons i have been saying for some time.
None of which has anything to do with his socks or his questionable dress sense. Footballing reasons. Basic footballing reasons.
The real question on the table must now be how long the gaffer is prepared to persist
He isn’t afraid to jettison players early. That much is clear based on transfer activity over the last 2-3 years.
That said, I have a funny feeling I will be critiquing McBurine for some time yet !!!!
Hoping I’m wrong.

Che Adams..... is this a joke? This is classic McBurnie though. He has one of these games once every 5 or 6 where you think - wow, he's actually got something about him.

I understand so many wanting to defend him, but have a look at the impact other attacking players are having that have come up from the Championship - Maupay, Che Adams, Bamford, Watkins, J Bowen....
Che Adams..... is this a joke?
If we signed Bamford, you'd have had a fit and rightly so.
Bowen????
Watkins whos barely done anything outside a 6 yard hatttrick?
But scored 1 in 11 starts last season....Che Adams is a way better player than Oli McBurnie.
He's fast, strong, mobile, can score with both feet, run with the ball. He looks a much better prospect at this level.
Jarrod Bowen is 3 in 6 this season for West Ham and is involved in most of their good play.
Such as?
Mcburnie is our best striker and should be starting every single match he is the focal point for most of our attacks and helps us build play
The lad bullies defenders he’s just dominated two of the best CB’s in the league something strikers very rarely do
A deflected shot to go in.

Hold on how long did Che Adams go last season before his 1st goal? it was almost at an end IMS, out of all those you mention Bamford is one I agree with and it grates like hell.
Post lockdown he's been very good for Southampton and is an important component to their play. He's scored again today & almost got a very good assist (denied by VAR).
He's improving whilst McBurnie remains inconsistent.
Swansea board must have wet themselves laughing when we signed Oli.I don't think there's any doubting his effort or application, but for £20m I think it's fair to expect a bit more than that.
I see him as a Chris Wood or Ashley Barnes type of player. Unfortunately I'd have either of those ahead of him currently. Both of whom were less expensive. I do think we've paid far too much for him.
Maybe it's a confidence thing too, let's hope so, and let's hope he gets some soon.

My money would be on Sharp over any distance against McBurnie, Sharp is also the best attacking header of the ball at the club. I would also say that positionally he's still the best at the club too. We need somebody who can score get Sharp on, if it's the only thing he does we can live with it. I haven't seen these situations where people reckon Sharp isn't up to Premier League standard but since I don't see every game (highlights mostly) I'll accept it.Billy when presented with a chance is currently a better finisher than Mcburnie, however due to his age and physical attributes ie height, and more importantly speed he has difficulty getting into the right positions which is precisely why Wilder favours Mcburnie.
