Harry Kane looked crap tonight for England, presume all you bedwetters on here think he is crap too. Some pathetic posts on this thread
Well thats a fair point , but you always knew he has it in his locker to produce a goal at anytime , the problem is Kane will properly get a goal or 2 this weekend and an assist , just like he did last time he played for Spurs and the previous time before that , perhaps its just the way we are playing at the moment , the whole team and the system , perhaps the whole team and the management are just not good enough to sustain Premiership football .

Really- just shows our opinions can differ. I thought Harry was outstanding- world class.

And as a side note- Grealish in one match sealed his future- amazing performance. Well done lad.

Hes only started half of our games
and had about half an hour in all the others.
He's started 3 of the last 4 games and looked bereft of confidence, he didn't start the last one because he was finally rested under the pretext he was injured. In the Man City game he was blocked off the ball in the first 5 minutes and you could see him shrivel up. He comes on from the bench or we get a hypnotist in to tell him he's playing for Swansea in the Championship. It's McGoldrick and Sharp for now and my go to from the bench would be Burke (who hasn't got a goal in his locker) who looks like he can make things happen. Unless we are comfortably winning then introduce one at a time ten minutes apart McBurnie and Brewster.

Barring the keeper i dont think anybody played well against City tbh and against Liverpool he was very good. So basically, the last time the team played well, he played well.

Mcgoldrick hasnt looked himself tbh, but hes scored, barring them id say hes been poor so far. I dont buy starting sharp, who last scored from open play in March, but at this point whatever.

Hang on this window was making us stronger, the boss said so. How is our position/performances stronger than last season?
I genuinely believe the window has made the squad stronger! Many factor in my opinion are effecting what is happening this season! The fans is a massive problem for us, we play with intensity and not having the fans means we don’t seem to have the same intensity. Also the injuries to key players is having a big effect.

I think we have played ok in most games this season. Last season when games were tight we would nick a goal then defend well! We have missed some decent chances in games where last season they we’re going in.
it’s going to be a very very tough season and of course it is fair to criticise but to get rid of the manager is crazy talk I’m my opinion.

I am not advocating sacking CW. However no teams have had fans not just us so I can't buy that. What we have become is predictable, new kids on the block last season and nobody believed our system would lay a glove. It did and some. This season we are being taken far more seriously and teams are cramping our system, the problem is we seem devoid of a plan B.

Of course it’s same for all teams however it can impact some teams more! I think it’s same with Liverpool they way they play they feed off the crowd! I genuinely don’t think we would be in this position if fans were in the ground! You could see our players feed of not only the home crowd but also the away crowd it gave us an extra edge.
We could and should have got results against Villa, Leeds Fulham (first half we should have been away), Liverpool. Getting results in those games wouldn’t have put us far off last seasons tally at this stage.
We do need to find a way and I think we will. We need to stick behind the team and stop all the bullshit on social media going in on the manager and individual players it does not help.

He would've scored v Wolves but for an inexplicable foul by McGoldrick.
McBurnie wasn't great against Liverpool he was ok. Yes I know he was praised by Wilder but it was an 'arm around the shoulders' for somebody who has been poor.

Posted this before, the next 2 games will define our season.

I saw it with my own eyes, i dont need CW to tell me who played well!

So he didnt score then. You've got a thing for his performance against Wolves - wasnt there a couple of simple assists he missed? It happens, but i dont see that game as a reason he should start.

I prefer Mcburnie, and am willing to see a different side to his performances. You prefer Sharp and are willing to see a different side to his. Its what it comes down to.

I suspect we're going to disagree on this but Sharp's failings (IMO) come down to him not getting the better of somebody trying to prevent him scoring or creating an opportunity to score whilst McBurnie is blowing those opportunities by himself.
(ie the difference between having a shot blocked and one not even being on target)

Leaping to the defence of a player dreadfully inept / out of form / out of his depth ?

Not at all embarrassing

Just a bit clappy. And where’s the harm in that ?

😉.

According to that the Team Management luv him.

We're just watching and waiting for when one of our strikers is going to actually start this season.
