I listened to the game on the radio and I'm sorry things didn't go your way. Burnley didn't really seem threatened and from what was said United were a bit flat. Fair to say?

So looks like I'll be supporting you guys in the Championship in 09/10. So does this mean I've been inducted to my first dissapointment as a Blades fan?

I'm sure it'll start to hurt more as I get into things.

For now however, I offer my deepest sympathies, I know how this feels.

The game summed up the season, unfortunately. Plenty of effort but a lack of quality. Naughton and Walker excellent but we have sold our best 3 strikers, havent we. [Beattie, Hulse, Steade].
The game was made a bigger nightmare because of Leeds scum shouting for Burnley in the bar.

Agreed changes are needed but we still finished 3rd. Had we played well in the first half of the season we may have done it automatically.

Difficult to predict anything for next year because those teams coming down will lose players, others will buy players.

Strikeforce wasn't being criticised when we were winning. Think we've missed Hendo' of late but Beattie cannot cut it.

Very disappointing to say the least. Should have had a pen, but Burnley deserved to win. Their keeper didn't have a single real save to make all game. We was never gonna score or win with that tub of shit up front, i felt it from the start. Before the goal we was the better team and it took it out of us straight away, blackwell failed to motivate the players (Part of his job) he failed to make the substitutions have any influence (Part of his job) he failed to see beattie is actually terrible. Just got back. Gutted but not as gutted as in 2003 or indeed after the Wigan game in 2007. I'm getting use to it and didn't get my hopes up before today.

The championship next season will be very tough and we MUST keep Kenny and the back 4 that played today to have a chance of a good season.

If Blackwell wants to leave then so be it, as for who to bring in to replace him I have no idea. Would like to see Speed given some sort of coaching role though.

Anyway, up the Blades. Today was just another one of many disappointing days out when the team didn't turn up. I'm sure they'll be many more in my lifetime but we're all Blades and we'll be back.
