You could JLT bollocking him towards the end of the first half too.

I pointed out his failings against Bristol City but was met with a wall of abuse for being a misery.

He doesn't have the football intellect to be a PL football and fully expect LWB to be an area we address. Which is ironic as last time we were in the PL we had x4 LWBs...

I think Lowe has done well this season. I just think he is not at a Premier League standard and therefore we should be looking to replace him, in fact the whole left side of defence needs bolstering if we get promoted. I still think he has had a good season though.

Max Lowe plays simply because he's the best/only option we've got at LWB at the moment. If RND was fit and Stevens' form hadn't dropped off a cliff, he wouldn't be playing and probably wouldn't be here.

He's done a decent job on the whole but he's a competent Championship level left back/wing back, nothing more and has done nothing to convince me that he can do the job every week in the Premier League.

Can't see him going anywhere though. With a year left on his deal, he'll probably see it out and fill in for the odd game rather than leave and get a worse one somewhere else in the Championship.

I'm not expecting him back before the end of the season, but if we can get him back to the form he showed before he injury for next season, I'd be happy with Lowe as his understudy, Lowe is still young afterall and probably will improve, given the time to do so
