I think booing a player is generally reserved good players who have either disappointed the fans at some point or could be a potential threat to us. I suspect most Blades will be fairly indifferent towards Lowes appearance.

You only boo players that were good and left under a cloud.

I would have driven Lowe to Hillsborough, bought him a pen from GT news to sign the contract, got the A4 paper for the contract to be printed on and sat him down nice and comfy before leaving.

I won’t boo him, I’ll probably just laugh at him.

Honestly, I can see him winning us the game. In which case him name should be sung around BL. Ironically not something we would have done when he played for us.

He doesn't deserve to be booed. If he was playing for Stoke, when they visited, he'd have got a clap. But this is the derby, so all banter and opportunities for a display of dislike are to be taken. So I shall boo him definitely. I'd boo my own son (whilst also being proud)

I’d have paid for the printer

Lowe is the sort of player who I'll have forgotten existed in around 3 years time. Not a good player, but not in the laughably bad standard of Ollie Burke or Auston Trusty. He just wasn't very good at defending, so we let him go and brought in a player that was.

If he plays to his very shitiest and we win I'll applaud him.

No malice towards him but Lowe is the most profoundly average footballer I’ve ever seen. He’s just OK(ish) at every aspect of his role, which is a really weird offering.

I reckon he could play in League 1 and not look like a standout. Which is silly for a lad of his age with so many appearances at higher levels.

The ground staff have an opportunity to do something hilarious with the sprinklers
Are you thinking corden them off with don't slip signs? Or just get them to randomly pop up when he's walking close to one during the warm up?

I won’t be booing but have no problem with those that do. If some booing affected him and knocked his game off and led to mistakes and goals, then I’m all for the boos. It’s all about Utd and not some ex players feelings at the end of the day.

That being said he doesn’t need boos to be off his game and to make mistakes.
