Heard a romour today that we are after Matt Derbyshire, how true this is i don't know my sunday footy manager was workin at mitch wards house when he heard this. Like i say how true it is i don't know, but would be an excellent signing..

This was in the Sun, (yeah ok, I know...) we are evidently looking at him from Forest when his loan to Oldham is up at the end of December...

Always rated him to be honest, but surely another striker isn't our priority, get the service right and the strikers we have should score for fun...

I would be really pleased if this was to happen, maybe send cofie back and get this lad in, agree though that a wide man and centre midfielder should be the priority, but think at this level and with the right service, Derbyshire would bang the goals in.

The very reason we need a wide man or central midfielder before looking at signings like this. All well and good having a load of finishers, but if there's nothing to finish, then it's money wasted.

I didn't think that Gallagher was that good during his loan - would rather see someone else come into midfield. Certainly not another striker to get splinters in his arse

I agree. He never really impressed when he was here. I think its more indicative of how poor our options in midfield are than Gallagher actually being good.
