It was a bit of a poor game till the goal, but we’ve been excellent since then, epitomised by Clarke – he had a couple of v poor touches early on, got the luck with the goal, and has since been superb. His movement has been good and the turn and diagonal pass to put Stevens clear down the left was excellent. V good performance so far.

Warnock will have give them a bollocking at half time so expect a onslaught on our goal, Survive that and try to sneak another goal it will be a good night

Also, I think Oliver’s been excellent so far. Despite reactions from the crowd, he’s got pretty much everything spot-on – we’d have been delighted with that challenge from NML, was amazed so many thought it was a foul.

Clearly a confidence player, the goal has given him some I agree, but I think when he turned their big lad at the back, that was a bit of a turning point for him in the game.

No matter how this finishes, this is a performance, and team, to be proud of. Outclassing the division's in form team in terrible conditions that probably favour Cardiffs physicality. It's not perfect, not everything is coming off, but we're playing exciting football, always good to watch

Superb performance without getting the result we deserve. Just finding it difficult to kill teams off. Tonight proves that if we play to our potential we can be very competitive ( and entertaining) in a division where many of the clubs have much bigger budgets than ourselves.

Undeserved based on the performance. Completely deserved based on us not taking our chances. Also a pity Stearman went off – thought he was superb.

If we keep that level of performance for the rest of the season we’ve got a great chance of finishing top 6.
