Just wondering if anyone know where to park we usually park at side of the Queens Road Club. Normally not an issue to get parked. But with my son playing football I can't always set of earlier to make sure we get a spot. Is there anywhere else that always has spots does anyone know.

Drive up Myrte Road, theres always spots there at the top. Might need your hiking boots for the journey back though, its a bit steep.

Also, the just park app is quality. You can arrive as late as you want if you’ve reserved a space

Thank you for that will definitely be looking at this cheers

Richards road, go up myrtle, turn right at the farm, take the last right and park by the farm, less of a hike up Myrtle.

I normally park in grovesnor further down. Live handsworth way so it's not too far to walk and it's a quick get away up granville road

Anywhere behind the Crown at Heeley or Broomhall, free and a 15 minute walk, or 2/3 hours if you pub it.

I find the just park app very useful. I occasionally use it for away games and at Hull on Friday I parked for £2 at an Asda Store, something similar at Wrexham a year or two ago. I've also parked on private house drives at times

Had my first problem with Just park last night. Was supposed to be on a private drive but the cul de sac was full of parked cars and it was dark and throwing it down as I arrived. The only house with an empty drive had it's gates closed and with the weather I couldn't make out any house numbers. There was a turning place at the end with vans parked and one space remaining so I parked there and intended walking back to check where I should be. With the weather and other issues ( can't go into them), I couldn't be bothered to check out the house so left my car where it was.
Fortunately it was still there when I got back :D
Can#t be bothered to take it up with Just park.

Pal of mine is coming from the M1 side. Is it best just to park at Meadowhall and train it in? Or is there some reasonably accessible street parking he can use?

I’m usually on the train or stopping over down there so if be useful for some tips for Monday night.

We often use the park and ride at valley centertainment then use the tram and walk from Castle Square. It helps that we can use our bus pass on the tram!

Middlewood park and ride, tram get off at university and walk down about 10 mins. Only good if your coming from north of sheffield and have a bus pass, its quicker getting home than queuing in traffic

I'd say Meadowhall wins by a fair margin. Only problem is, trains from Leeds stop there (I think) so it could be an unpleasant experience

Yes I use to love living on mid hill at Heeley on match days. I'm sure the residents appreciate the recommendations posted above.

I get this and my road's horrendous for parking but everyone is free to park where they want rule-wise. Football or not!!

Yes I get it.Unfortunately us humans are twats and leave rubbish at the side of there cars and stuff . It doesn’t matter Cus it’s not there street!

Usually my mode of choice but would sooner park or tram it from pig-land this time around.
Would rather be late back than get caught in any bother just to save 10 minutes.
