Mattock, I imagine. Assaulted four people including two girls if I remember rightly. I think he pleaded Guilty to Affray. Add to him soon to be imprisoned Washing Machine and the delightful Nile Ranger, not to mention cheats Swan, Kay and Layne and you have a club whose fans should not be throwing stones from their glass houses. I don't suppose Radio Ham or the Piggy hypocrites who ring in will mention any of that. Personally, I won't know because I have some paint drying and need to keep an eye on it.

Whatever you think about King, this is a major own goal from SUFC and Wier which has completed divided our support. We're in the shit in a big way, terrible performances, awful form and fans getting very restless. Then we go and do this.

We are in trouble for sure, and one reason why we are in trouble is that we can't score goals. The logical thing to do is sign someone who can score. King has scored 41 goals in 95 appearances at his last two clubs, at a level above where we are now. Strike rate of 43%.

Did Birmingham or Coventry fans start fighting with each other? Was it PR suicide for them?

I think the vast majority will just support the team, whoever plays.

My money's on the fans not fighting amongst themselves and it being the best atmosphere of the season.

I'll always support the team. I just wish he wasn't in it. I still want him to score and us to win. Then when he writes his autobiography I'd like him to concentrate on how much he loved it at Gillingham :)
 
I don't think this was ever going to be a popular signing but the level of hissy fit is getting ridiculous.
 
There will be no fighting and the division is about 8-2 in favour of him playing I reckon.

Unlike Jon Forte, at least this striker knows how to hit a bull's ass with a banjo. Mind, I bet Jon Forte helps old ladies across the road, which seems to help some sleep at night. Us not getting relegated helps me.

All of which is useless if he is watching the ball being passed around between our back four 10 yards outside our own area. As someone else has said, we could have signed RVP (and some would still have moaned) and he wouldn't score goals in our setup...

Well Our Marlon is on the Birmingham City calendar for September, all of which goes to prove that football clubs calendars are somewhat pointless...

Aye, Axel's going to turn up but go for a piss or something when King comes on.

Swiss will be in Japan anyway, but he's 'going to give it 5 more minutes before he tunes in to find the result.

Elsewhere I estimated the damage to the club could be £85 per season. I think I overestimated by £50.
