McCabe said we paid £3m for him in the summer.
He specifically added he was one of the highest paid players, outside the relegated teams.
I would think that puts him in the region of £20,000 to £25,000 a week. If he's on a three-year contract we have committed comfortably in excess of £5m to his signing, probably nearer £6m.

Morgan is our highest paid player, and on nowhere near that.

Pretty sure that's wrong to be honest, McCabe did say recently that Evans was the highest paid player outside the relegated teams, surely he couldn't have said that if one of our own was on more?

It's on the website.
It's also illuminating that he thought it poignant to highlight his wages.
In reality, the investment in our development player is £5m to £6m. Pretty eye watering in terms of return.
True, Lenners. True. The wanker hasn't scored many goals in his three years at the club, has he?

I know that nailed on.

No you don't. It's fairly obvious a bloke bought for £3m from Manchester City is likely to be our highest paid player, particularly when he's a striker.
A phenomenal investment for a development player.

Yes I do Len.

I'm not going to get embroiled in a argument, mostly because I have neither the time nor inclination to spend my time bickering on the internet. Agree, disagree, I couldn't care less frankly I have little respect for your opinion anyway.

If Ched Evans achieves all the stipulations attached to the £3m "fee", it's brilliant investment!
