So, after the initial disgust at the pricing, who's off to support the mighty Blades?

I'm in. :)

All Catagory 1 tickets sold, limited number of Cat 2, Only really Cat 3 left and I can't get one until they go on general sale because my best mate is an inferior Blade and doesn't have enough loyalty points and I can't just get one myself for fear of being a cunt.

So it's looking precarious.

No serious risk of us selling 8k is there? My sons mates are all bang up for it, lots of people I know have been put off by the £.

It's a generational thing, I guess. :)

I also have to wait for general sale to get two tickets, one for me and the boy.

Hotel reserved in hope.

I'm also waiting for general sale, a mate with enough loyalty points will get me one but I want to sit with mates.

Can't see them all selling out before general sale, but a lot of people with enough loyalty points will buy them for mates even if they can't go themselves

I'm going against everything I believe in by getting one for those prices, but after watching dismal performances at various 3rd division shitholes, Old Trafford is a welcome day out.

I'm surprised at how many have been snapped up already, 3,000+ so far. So that's almost half the allocation and I've still got to wait for over a week to get mine

I was really keen on going initially but the ticket price on top of the travel cost, coupled with it being on TV, has made the not-going option ultimately more attractive.

Just imagine we won (I know, I know).

"Kids, I remember our famous victory back in 2016. I was putting the kettle on when it came off Wallace's bandage in the 96th minute. I could hear the fans going wild on the radio" :D

Get yersen's there.

I was really keen on going then when I heard about the prices I decided NO.

But the grandkids are so excited about seeing us at Old Trafford.
Even the partner (who only ever goes to see us at Wembley) wants to go.

So against my better judgment will reluctantly be getting 4 tickets when they go on general sale.

Off to get a ticket this morning, hoping to buy another when they go on general sale - BUT - Any season ticket holder with more than 15000 loyalty points who is not going????? Would really appreciate your customer number so I could purchase another ticket for my son today ! If so please message me !
Merry Christmas to all Blades everywhere

Bought my ticket on Monday.

To quote the OP 'after the initial disgust at the ticket prices....' it seems strange that it's the most expensive tickets that are selling first.

Looking forward to being stared at by the day trippers for making noise, again :), that and the pre-match beers in Manchester.

You have mates? ;)

3k sold by yesterday.

We're hanging on for General Sale as we need a 5th ticket with no points, but will be there

Yep dug deep and forked out for three tickets yesterday. What's the betting we have a cast iron penalty appeal turned down again?

That's because you get a free half time prawn sandwich with the top priced tickets.

Not so long back this would have been nailed on for me...now.....I will probably wait...and wait......and wait.............then decide not to go. Same as the Boxing Day fixture..... Last year everyone in our household went..... this season......not one of us is going.........Its a sad day when the prospect of sitting in the local pub watching the scores come in is more appealing than an away-day on the lash.

If we had a half decent team....or at least one we could take pride in.....we would sell out no problem. We don't.

Closest I'm getting to Old Trafford is Wigan
