If Lys scores a hat trick at AFCB, as payback , then the confidence turns him into a 10goal striker by Christmas. The like of PSG might come calling with a Neymar exchange... If

Probably only sign if he could buy Chatsworth House, over to you Dukey

Anyone who likes a crap bet like myself ..................I asked Skybet to price up Mousset 15+ goals this season 17-2 is the price.

Not sure if that's good or not

I'd suggest that those odds aren't particularly good. There were only 8 players who scored 15+ goals last season and other than Jamie Vardy they all played for the big clubs

You'd be best off buying him on that sports index site (footy stock market)... you'd make way more if he turns out to decent, and you only lose value if he wasn't... also JOC is only 60p per share... money to be made!

How does that actually work though? I find it hard to believe its anywhere near legit

You don’t actually own a share in the player. You’re just gambling on whether their value goes up or not.

The Mousse - would be great to get the Kop singing the Lord Rockingham's Eleven song (sorry, I don't know how to post a link), There's a Moos Loos Aboot This Hoos, particularly the instrumental lead up to that line, with all the 'de de de de de de de's!

Is his name pronounced 'lees', Leece, or lice?

Would have thought it’s Leez Moose say but said quickly, so it sounds more like Liz..(as in Elizabeth).
....might be better just calling him Betty.

  • Haha
Reactions: FYT

I googled it and apparently its a girls name.
We may just have the first trans gender footballer! 😊

A few of ours have popped up on there now we're big time.

I've got some in Henderson, JOC, Fleck, Mousset, Robinson and............. Maupay and McBurnie.

Robinson 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👍💰

If McBurnie comes in I would start him and Sharp upfront but I think Chris will need a few games in the Prem before he really knows what hes up against and for his first 11 to take shape.
That’s too predictable for me mate. We’re going to need to tweak our approach somewhat to succeed in the prem. I’d play the whole team back to front, with Henderson leading the attack and McBurnie in goal, then put our left sided players on the right and right sided players on the left and get them to run on the diagonal only, a bit like the Bishops in a game of chess. I’d have certain players instructed to put their shirts on back to front and run backwards as well.

It’s all about surprising the opposition.

Loving these behind the scenes videos. Also found it very interesting how Ravel Morrison was speaking towards the end of the video. He sounds up for it and excited.

Really nice to see that from Ravel. Really unexpected, but a lovely insight.

He made a big effort there to make Lys feel welcome; talked us up, mentioned he'd heard good things about the lad as a player & sounded genuinely excited about the future.

It appears he's trying his best to give a really good impression of himself & put the past behind him.

I honestly think if he goes on a bit of a charm offensive (Brayford, Henderson style) then this would really help his confidence when the crowd inevitably fall on side. It feels like he's one of those players who probably does need a little bit of special treatment & extra support - I hope we're up to the task (if he is).

Can't wait to see the lad in action watched a clip of him earlier for the under 21's and the skill was frightening .if Wilder can harness this I can see him becoming a real crowd pleaser

Maybe all this weather talk has gotten to the Mousse.
He was wearing a bloody jumper over his club-gear, whilst I was about 99% sweat from the unbearable warmth.

Also, him and Egan kept having little chats on the bench, but I’d be very surprised if either of them understood a word the other was saying.

Welcome Lys.

Your song must surely be :-

Allez Mousset Allez
Allez Mousset Allez
Allez Mousset Allez
Allez Mousset Allez

😀.

Vive le frogs 🐸

I can’t stop myself pronouncing it Moose-et

Its a shame its not that, or we could have used ‘Push it’ by Salt n’ Peppa

“Oh, Mousset... Mousset real good!
Do-do-do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do-do” (repeat ad-nauseam, until such a time as he no longer looks ‘real good’)
