“Why pay 10 mill on Him when weve got Evans”

“Fink Evans is quality we shudve spend that 10 mill on Delph”

The location of our very own blade versions of Mark the pitsmoor pig!
I really hope that’s all a joke and nobody has seriously said that, if so then there really is no hope for them

The loan was only for £7.5m though, so it will already be paid off

To put this one to bed (hopefully):

We sold Brooks for £11.5m up front, split into three instalments. Bournemouth paid £4m in July 2018 with £4m due in Jan 2019 and the final £3.5m due in July this year.

We, as most championship sides do, had cashflow constraints last season so we borrowed the £7.5m in July last year, guaranteed against the £7.5m of future income from Bournemouth. In effect, it means that Bournemouth's second and third installments went straight to the bank.

We won't be writing off any outstanding money from the Brooks deal if we sign Mousset. There's no point.

£9.5m ---> £10m........... It'll be £20m by the time the move is completed.

Rather than keep asking if he's been confirmed yet can someone explain to me what style of striker he is?
I know what we have in Billy and McGoldrick. I think understand what type of role Robinson will get, and I fully understand what we would be bringing in if we recruit Maupay and/or Mcburnie.
I just dont know much about Mousset.

Being black, athletic and french you'd assume he's fast, agile, plays on the last man and can beat players... but racial profiling isn't usually a good thing so can anyone tell me what he ACTUALLY brings to the table?

People on here are just desperate to find positives in anybody we sign ..and btw it's not CW money ..as some people seem to blindly believe ...this is a major punt ..and time will tell ..hope it works out ..but fk all points to that it will ...despite blind optimism...

Given the other negative rubbish he;'s posted, he's either a WUM or a pig on here to stir things up.

I'm sure he will come back and tell us that although he is the 'biggest Blade', he also has a season ticket at Bournemouth, has seen ALL Moussett's games and his is definitely 'shit'.

Get with the real world ...just being relative ..not in la la land ..like some folk

So would it be fair to say MoTD viewing at best?

Pretty much yes ...and just because some folk have googled his early career ..and are clinging on to that ..does that make my opinion Miles out ...I think not..

If Eddie Howe couldn't get this talent out ...? Are we guaranteed too ? ...The answer nobody knows but at that price and his record I wouldn't say it's a top signing...it's a punt ..and a big punt at £10 mill

In my opinion I would have looked elsewhere...

He has two of the best strikers in the premiership ahead of him, that is why he could not get a start. If you don’t start you can’t score on a consistent basis.

Ok. Who and why? Just interested to understand as I assume you are not CW or part of my beloved Blades incoming transfer team.

Calm down fella, you’re very defensive for someone who’s so sure of his opinion.
I think we can put your view of him in the same box as those You Tubers who are getting excited, in that neither of you have enough evidence to form a fair or reliable opinion.
I’ve also said I’m not sure around this move and I’ve lots of questions, but I simply don’t have enough evidence to come up with a firm viewpoint to support or criticise.

He might not seem a top forward on paper in terms of his scoring record in the UK but when you consider he'd only played in the French Second Division and also came to the Premier League at just 20, it's not surprising he struggled at Bournemouth. He probably would have been better going to the Championship here first or played in the Ligue One before moving directly to the Premier League. He's had three years here now and played mainly from the bench and I reckon that he could do well for us after this period of adjustment. After all, many big clubs were looking at him when he signed for Bournemouth and he must be used to the Premier League and what ita about now.

Can't beat a good Satday night debate when people been boozing😂

I'm with you l.truth is we don't know how it's going to pan out ...

It's obvious the logic behind it ..pacy wildcard factor ..as we won't create a fraction of the chances we have been doing ...and our style of play will change .....

But think after going the Robinson route I wouldn't haven't taken a massive plunge on this boy ....I would have gone for goals against potential...just my opinion

Really hope it works out ...we will see ..

I don’t think this is cut and dried yet.

Can’t deny, he is a gamble and since he apparently passed his medical on Friday, maybe were taking the weekend to think it over.................😉

Maybe Maupay is about to make a decision on where he wants to go.

He could be the new Luton Shelton

I agree,Wilders response when asked about the progress of Mousetts 'transfer' today was strange,i got the impression that either he or the player were getting cold feet,i wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen.
