We signed Souza / Hamer / Slimane / Thomas all to be ball players. Then we don’t keep the ball.

I couldn‘t believe my eyes, when he stood there as the Bournemouth player casually took it from in front of him. Disregarding the referees lack of mobility and casual drop ball, what the fuck did Thomas think was happening, to my recollection he just stood there looking totally confused?

I’ve tried to find some footage of the incident, but it is mysteriously absent from all of the match highlights. I can only assume that is to protect Andy Madley rather than spare Thomas’ blushes

I wouldn’t say it’s surprising or even arguable that they’ve got a better side as they clearly have. They should never have been relegated with the squad they had and they’re light years ahead of us.

We’re going to use the domestic loan market to bring in the quality that we can’t afford to buy. That’s the message we were told. Obviously not directly by anyone from the club because they don’t generally have the decency or level of respect to liaise directly with the fans.

We effectively wrote off a couple of winnable- looking games at the start of the season against the likes of Palace and Forest to wait for the best loan players to become available. Then we sign this abomination. He is awful. Larouci is better. There are players in our academy who would certainly not be any more error prone. What a disgraceful use of one of the domestic loans.

Shame on you abdullah for overseeing this shambles and shame on the recruitment staff who are getting paid good money to scout this shite.

Agree in part, tho I do think Larouchi at least gives us some attacking threat, Lowe and (John) Thomas dont. All three are a shambles defensively so prefer the one that at least offers something. I fail to see how a pro manager keeps playing Thomas when he can see that he is quite clearly steuggling to be a footballer!
