Leicester mate at work says -

“He’s a steady signing, won’t set the world alight but probably better than what you have as long as your left winger tracks back, and he’s not an absolute prat. Can shit himself if a winger beats him in the first five minutes though”

I asked what he’s like going forward and received this -

“Was really good when he first started, got an assist first game, but suffered when playing behind Barnes who had no defensive work rate. Rodger’s didn’t want his full backs going past half way. Reckon he’d suit being a LWB more than an out and out full back, definitely a player in there if Hecky can get him confident”

Sounds promising.

Hopefully makes us more solid, though a bit concerned he wont offer much going forward.
Might be good for the games where we're realistically hoping for a draw at best and then play someone more attack minded where we think we can get 3 points?

He has experience at this level, infact more than most of our team? Hopefully a good signing.

Got 21 starts in the season where Leicester finished 8th aged 20 is decent. Wages more realistic for us (FM23 had him on £25k a week, but maybe that lower now with the relegation). Seems a bit like a Tyrick Mitchell type player for Palace i.e. very solid defensively but doesn't offer that much going forwards? Wonder if Lowe leaves in January

If we thought there were realistic domestic loan options right now we wouldn’t have used it. It would appear those injuries have hit those we were targeting in this area so we’ve used up the slot. He’s better than what we had so we’re stronger in that area this season than last. Mcatee in and then look to abroad for the remaining loans.

In fairness, if you've got harvey barnes in front of you it make a lot of sense to just pass to him and let him run with it

If this guy only has a year left and we are loaning him for that year what’s the point in using a loan spot on it?
Because we have almost all the left wing backs injured ? RND,Lowe,Osborne oh and Larouce is shit ?

I know that. But we have ZERO attacking midfielders.

We’ve had a combined 21 shots over 3 games. Compared with 70 against us. I think the attacking part of the pitch is the priority given Baldock/Robinson have played LWB.

Been released by Hull. I hope he manages to pick up another club. Probably best served dropping to league 1 for regular football.

I thought Hamer was an attacking midfielder?

He’s a box to box midfielder. By definition all midfielders should be capable of attacking. But he’s definitely not the creative outlet we are desperate for.
