No that there was a clause in the Henderson loan. Like you said. I was just having a Eureka moment as I didn't realise it was you that had mentioned it until now.

Depends on which Bash I guess.. Pre wider he was most defiantly a utility CB, RB, DM, since Wilder he is an established RCB of course

Just a zillion times pal. If it doesn't happen my source is done lol. But I believe Freeman is unhappy and is moving on, this was said in October. You can't please all of the people all of the time, not even Wilder can do that.
 
Problem for LF is form of JF and fact he has escaped injury (apart from very early on when LF came in) and suspension. I see same problem for Lunny now we have Berge although to br honest so far I think Lunny has been outstanding coming of as impact sub at about 60 mins.

No you certainly can't. It's a shame at times but sentiment doesn't come into it does it. The blades are moving forward and that's that.

Will Lunny be happy playing the sub role though. Didn't look like it to me the other day. Which annoyed me tbh. CWAK have resurrected his career no doubt. Appreciate he wants to play but I don't like to see that.

I suggested that in my experience watching the Blades, that the term 'Utility player' has been used to describe a whole load of shit players who are rubbish wherever they play. This was my criterion. You suggested 'Basham'. I really don't think he fits my criterion.

John Ryan comes to mind. Floated uselessly around the pitch completely independently of wherever he was supposed to be playing.
 
Sorry - just to clarify - I was more thinking of players like this guy - the one falling over. (No idea who the Blade's player is)?

Freeman was brought in for a team bottom third of the league. I believe that’s what he is. But we’ve moved on quickly it’s the same with Robinson.

Can anyone name a championship player who’s walked into a top 6 prem side in one season with no experience?

Do you mean other than... Hendo, Baldock, Basham, Egan, O'Connell, Stevens, Fleck, Norwood, Lundstrum, McGoldrick and Sharp?? Haha

Just being an arse! I do agree we've progressed too quickly for him it seems.
 
It's about having options. We can currently play with a flat midfield three or could switch to two CMs and CAM - we've hardly done this at all, which is a surprise. If we do, and we should give it a go at some point IMO, the role is made for Freeman. Imagine him and Fleck bombing forward and Norwood holding...

Freeman's useful CM cover (when PL squads are so tight on numbers) and the best CAM we could have hoped for in our budget whilst also fitting criteria - hungry, British, point to prove, hard working. 👌🏻

Where does Berge fit into that?
 
For me every time he played he’s been good and well under rated, I can’t remember in which game fleck came off and Freeman came on and the he turned around in our favour . Definitely not suggesting we drop Fleck as he’s a legend but Freeman would be on my bench for every game

Another one in the “feel sorry” for Freeman camp. The lads done nothing wrong but unfortunately for him but happily for us the first choice team are doing brilliantly.

I don’t feel sorry for him but I do believe he deserves to be ahead of Osborn on the sub list . I’m not overly keen on having defenders on the bench as I feel it’s negative , but there again that’s why I’m sat at home and Wilder is our messiah

Henderson, Baldock, Stephens, O'Connell, Fleck, Norwood, Egan, Sharp, Mousset, McBurnie, McGoldrick.

Not bad for starters
 
Great skill for Sharp's goal. Definitely infront of Lunny now in the midfield order.

My only gripe is he tries to do too much. But that's the only criticism I have tonight. Had a belter.
