Having not renewed my season ticket for the coming season would I be right in thinking that my loyalty points are more or less count for nothing now?

I'm not having a moan here just wanting to know where I stand with them.

Dunno about the loyalty point situation but why not get a membership card thing? Might help...

They still stand as far as I know. Mine did when I didnt have one

I'm pretty sure the points you have are kept on. You'll still have the same customer number, season ticket or not, and the points are assigned to that.

If you didn't get to keep them, I think they'd have to set everyone to 0 at the start of every season and the system would be pointless.

Thanks for your responses fellas. Hopefully my points still stand but I remember a mate of mine's didn't last season or the season before as he hadn't renewed, hence why I'm asking.

I'll have a look at this "adult membership" thing, does it have anything to do with Darren?

I think it's all about the fact that first choice on tickets goes to existing season ticket holders by ranks of loyalty points and then to members where they then rank by loyalty points. I think if you don't have a season ticket or a member card, you are disadvantaged - as I say, I think.

Think that's right. My loyalty points were inaccessible the year I didnt even bother with a membership, however they are re-instated when you opt back in, you don't go all the way back to zero.

I'm not sure it works that way - the allocation goes on points AFAIK, which means someone with, say, a ST for 10 years who doesn't renew should still be in a better position than someone who has had one for fewer years but did renew (assuming similar patterns of cup/away games). Not sure if the non-renewer could keep their membership number even if they didn't renew their membership, would be a bit harsh if not.

priority for away tickets goes to season tickets and members. If you don't have those you go down the priority list. It's worked like that for a few years. If you get a membership card or ST,you start where you left off and not at zero.

If you are going to at least 9-10 10 home league games, the membership scheme is excellent value.

S6, I've not renewed my Season Ticket either this year. The number of midweek home games I couldnt attend last season meant I was pissing money away in view of where I live, so have opted to pay £20 for an adult membership for this season instead.
I did this online on 2 July which was easy and I can assure you that the loyalty points that i've racked up over the years have been transferred onto my membership card. Sorted.
If i'm not mistaken, away tickets are prioritised by the number of loyalty points held so you should be ok for away games if you have a few points in the bag.

Hope this helps mate.

Thanks again for all your help gentlemen. Seems I'd be wise to get a membership card as I'll be going to a fair amount of games home and away and my 26,000 loyalty points (big blade alert) I've racked up will come in handy.

Apparently Bert's loyalty points are kept under armed guard in a Swiss bank vault.
