Sky think it's a done deal
Would expect him to be our 1st choice LW, with Brooks as our 1st choice RW.Watching us play tonight and adding this lovely lad on the wing![]()
Can we not afford him as a permanent?
Is it a loan to buy?If we loaned him with an option to buy then why would we ever not do that instead?

Apparently he's a better player than his dad at the same age, but then again his dad is a plasterer from dudley who's never played footballThe cautionary notes are his injury record and lack of experience at this level.
The former a bigger concern.
Looks an exciting player, great record in League 1.. but as did JRS who left with mostly negative reviews.
Selles signed him previously which is comforting in some ways. Obviously really believes in him.
Saw him several times for Stockport and he was excellent. The cautionary notes are his injury record and lack of experience at this level.

Presumably we'll have an option / obligation. Plus, if we bought him, we'd have to agree to a 50% sell on like Hull did.Can we not afford him as a permanent?

Tbf though, he was knocking off Sean Bean's missus long before Sean was.Apparently he's a better player than his dad at the same age, but then again his dad is a plasterer from dudley who's never played football
Not saying you're wrong mon capitaine but all the highlights and goals I've seen of his are him cutting in from the left not the right. He's very right footed and played predominantly on the left side of attack for StockportI've seen a lot of his goals, mostly cutting in off the right (bad news again for A Brooks?).
He definitely has dribbling and finishing to his game. I've no idea about the rest of it.

Why if we can get him on loan given his price tag of a couple of million, the fact he’s massively unproven at this level and his injury? Can we not afford him as a permanent?
Probably. But why take the risk on a player who’s coming back from a serious injury, with a 50% sell on clause that’s mandatory. Can we not afford him as a permanent?
