Good job WBA made a terrible start. Hopefully the new manager bounce ends soon but both them and Boro worry me. Both sides have been on a charge and they are both linked to very good players so far this window.
Carrick took over at Boro on October 24th and Corborán at WBA on October 25th. This how the table stood on October 25th:

1 Burnley P17 GD+15 Pts 32
2 QPR P16 GD+8 Pts 30
...
5 United P16 GD+10 Pts 26
...
21 Middlesbrough P16 GD-2 Pts 17
22 Coventry P14 GD-2 Pts 17
23 West Brom P16 GD-2 Pts 14

And this is now:
1 Burnley P26 GD+27 Pts 56
2 United P26 GD+21 Pts 51
...
5 Middlesbrough P26 GD+8 Pts 39
...
9 West Brom P26 GD+8 Pts 38

Therefore over the 10 subsequent games we've extended our lead over both Boro and West Brom, by 2 points and 1 point respectively, and increased our goal difference differential by 1 against both.

Keep this up and we're looking at a battle for third a long way behind us.

All my forest pals were screaming for him to be in team when they was getting slapped, they swear by him.

Ideal long term replacement for Fleck next season when we're in the prem. Would sign Doyle as well as an osborn replacement and back up option for norwood

I might be in a minority that's not that blown away by Doyle.
If he was an academy lad I'd be excited by him as a long term prospect, but given he's only here for the year I think he's still got a long way to go.

Still think he has a lot to offer to the mission, but I wouldn't want us to blow any more than £6/7m on him if we went up.

i dont think weve seen the best of doyle yet hes had 2 or 3 niggly injuries so do think the best is yet to come although like you wouldnt want us to go over say 10m for him if we get up and is available in the summer

Forest have just chucked another 20m on a midfielder from Palmeiras, like you do. He's left footed and looks something of an all rounder

This makes O'Brien super available

If something happens that enables us to spend surely we look at him

Nowhere near good enough to play in the EPL next season. He's got talent but there's a lot missing in terms of athleticism, strength, mobility, stamina and many of the core defensive aspects. He'll be at a Championship club next season.

Him and Jacob greaves from Hull to come in on the left side, fleck, Osborn, Stevens, Clark and joc 😭 to leave.

Lewis O’Brien and Keane Lewis-Potter on loan, I think they’re realistic in the sense they’ll be loaned to a championship club this window. I doubt we sign anyone and it will probably be a striker if we do but would like these two signings and look to play something like this fitness permitting;

Foderingham
Ahmedhodzic Egan Clark
Bogle Norwood O’Brien Lowe
McAtee Ndiaye Lewis-Potter

Berge/McBurnie been great at times this season but question marks over form/fitness we could do with strengthening to boost our promotion chances.

We would be a more balanced team with Berge out and O'Brien in, meaning we wouldn't be so reliant on all attacks down the right. Less individual quality, but only when Berge does decide to turn it on which has been very sporadic recently. Would be very happy if this was the outcome.

OBrien would improve our team as much as any realistic signing could

There'd be a big difference in energy and a much better balance
agree loan with a view to buy would be my guess and surely he would choose us over west brom would be a great loan signing

O'Brien is a very good championship player. I'd love United to get him on a loan to permanent deal (permanent if we go up) and it would make perfect sense as the Trees want to move him on to accommodate their next wave of incoming players.

Forest signing Shelvey apparently. Because its been a few days since they signed a CM now

Would have been a good one for us in the PL if we were to up the wage ceiling as we should

Why are they doing this? It's like they are doing what Watford do with managers but with players instead. Player is there for 5 minutes then its time to get rid of them. They are doing it with Bowler as well.

Should be a no brained for the lad.

Chance to start regularly.

Potential to even win the Championship vs potential to get in the play offs.

Also think he’s have been the type of player we would buy if promoted anyway.

Given we are bound to have the ball less at a higher level, he may well be more effective than Berge to be honest.

If we do actually have to get rid of Berge to lift the embargo I do hope we have a deal lined up for O’Brien.

Obrien is just as as good as berge at carrying the ball from midfield. Considering Berge performances recently he is thinking of a move and if he didn’t go what berge would we be left with.

Simon Stone from the bbc saying on twitter Forest want a £10million obligation to buy clause in letting him go - can’t see us agreeing to that

no chance we'd pay that.

I also have slight concerns about his attitude. Not sure he'd be the Hecky kind of player, however much talent he has.

Shows how much I take notice of players we are playing against (unless outstanding) because I’ve genuinely never heard of him until recently where he’s mentioned on various threads for us to sign. I’m guessing he’s a top player that so many want him, fingers crossed we can get him then.

You'd have thought the other interested clubs would be against that more than us

I don't think 90% of our fans base have seen him play more than a couple of times, it's just someone mentions a name and our fans just follow.
Would sooner keep Berge all day long.

He had a really good season last year, against us at Huddersfield he was outstanding
