Exactly ! Didnt scummy Forest invest about £160m two seasons ago or was it more? The financial gap is too big, we're gonna need a PL1 and PL2 maybe two leagues of 16 each or something daft.

Yes decent strikers and midfielders are £25-£45million but decent defenders can be less.

They had bigger, better squads for longer periods this season.

I heard it was close to £200 million in that 1st season, about £150 million+ in the summer window alone.

And they only just stayed up in the last few games, had they been relegated, I bet they would have been in a very bad financial position.

But yes, something has to be done about the gap between the PL and the Championship, starting with better distribution of TV money, and a serious rethink of PSR rules that shackle anyone who doesn't get regular income from European competitions.
