Loving his attacking runs that he's doing. I don't actually know what his role is... I think he has a free role because I see him making runs that a striker would be doing, he's always in the box, he also gets back and defends.

It makes me so excited that we have 3 box to box midfielders playing at the same time. No matter what, they'll get forward and they'll get back.

Love it.

Oh yeah, I am apparently also a Sheffield Wednesday fan (dont know where that comes from)

He’s like a technically capable Basham. All the energy, the want to score, stop them scoring and run about like an idiot but also capable of actually making things happen.

I love Bash but any further than half way and he gets nosebleeds :)

Bash is awesome but also not very good at football :D:D only makes sense if you watch him play

Proper box to box player is Lenny, hopefully he will bag a few goals but it will be his energy and drive that will be his biggest assets for us.

As for Bash. I agree that he looks a bit awkward on and off the ball, it's something to do with his build that I can't quite put my finger on, gangly perhaps? But he is also possessed of skill unless I imagined all the times he has chopped or jinked his way past an opponent in tight situations, and who will ever forget the 'Basham turn'? He's more than just a grafter.

We have a player called Lenny
Who will score goal a many
He can defend from the back
But in fitness he doesn’t lack
He hasn’t yet a song
But I’m sure it won’t be long:)

....................................... be gentle:rolleyes:

He’s actually decent on the ball. It’s when he comes to pass it to another bloke in red and white I panic.

Are you saying he's the next Frank Lampard ?

I gave you a like and now pronounce you a *bunny ears* social influencer *bunny ears*

Go forth and spread this amongst the under 30's and you will see the power and become infused by it.

Is that the bunny ears where you put a woman’s legs behind head to a position :eek:

I thought it was interesting that Wilder opted to switch him into the deeper midfield role that Lee Evans had when Lundstram was subbed on, rather than simply have Lundstram slot straight into the role. I can see midgame shifting of Leonard being a regular feature of Wilder’s tactical changes.

I reckon Wilder has relinquished Lunny of that role for the time being. With Leonard behind him it might give Lunny a bit more freedom and relieve a bit of pressure on the lad.
