Alex O'Hanlon - Liverpool (had him for a few trial games)
Tommy Rowe - Wolves - Utility play out of contract
Anthony Wordsworth - Colchester
Owen Garvan - Colchester
John Fleck - Coventry
Paul Corry - Northampton
Danny Rose - Northampton
Oscar Gobern - Free was at QPR (previously with huddersfield)

Gobern could be a good pickup, big guy who can do a bit of everything. I imagine Tufty wants a left footed midfielder because he may see Scougall as one of the three behind Sharp.

Thought he only wanted 1? That lot should cover that position mate :D

Wouldn't have Corry he's an ex owl . Out of the ones you have mentioned id pick fleck . But if I had a choice of anyone I'd say Connor hourihane but obviously that won't happen coz he's just gone up with Barnsley and is there captain

In all seriousness, what formation is CW likely to start with and adopt? Are we looking at something like 4-3-1-2 with overlapping fullbacks pinging in crosses to the front 2 and supporting midfielders?

I don't think we will see plain old 4-4-2 !

We really suffered last season with us failing to get behind teams and putting crosses in. Hopefuuly now with Hussey, Brayford, Duffy and another, this will change!

Liking the Oscar Gobern shout. He needs to knuckle down & settle down somewhere. Could just be here...

Sam Mantom mentioned on another thread. Not sure if he's a left-footer, but suspect so - there's some clips online of him scoring some excellent long range goals with his left peg.

Another one that came to light earlier today: Ryan Ledson - Everton youngster, spent most of last season successfully on loan at Cambridge. Great attitude, very consistent. Suggestion that Everton will want him playing at our level this coming season. Again, not sure if he's left footed, but a central midfielder all the same.

John Lundstram from Oxford. Excellent season in 15/16. Would Oxford sell? Would he be looking at Championship level?

Fleck is the pick there. Did really well at Coventry, particularly last season. But he's not physically the biggest is he?

I suppose we already have similar in scougall too. Gobern looks a better fit and more achievable

Based on his comments in yesterday's interview I'd probably rule out Gobern.

Would much rather have Graham Carey from Plymouth; Left footed, 6ft, mobile, a good leader on the pitch, great set piece taker, good defensively but even better going forward. Also remember the last left footed midfielder Plymouth sold to a team around this area and look how well he's done.

Jamie O'Hara.

Released from Fulham.

29 years old - so I think it's fair to say we're nailed on to sign him.

Wouldn't mind Gobern out of that list, as already stated he needs to settle somewhere and still has age on his side (25)

Fleck for me was one of the standout players in the division.

Not that big, but was strong in the tackle and a quality footballer. Would take him all day long at United.....however I have a feeling he may well head back up north.

Having heard first hand the plans of the Scunny lot, I'm concerned they will go up before we will.

Manager doing a good job, and picking up young players to play a system. They will be together as a team and very tough to beat.

Youth set up a bit lacking mind....But they can't compete with us outside the first team.

Me. About 20 years past my best tbf, and my best wasn't much to shout about. If they put me in the Blades midfield you'd think they'd lied to you about getting rid of Hammond.
