I'm in my 40s and was brought up watching FA Cup finals when they really really mattered to the players and fans. Some of that has gone now that money and the Champions League prevail.

I can't see United ever winning the First Division / Prem again in my lifetime, but I can still dream of the cup. It would probably be the highlight of my Blades supporting life to see us lift the cup at Wembley. Especially if we've beaten those overpaid cunts from Chelsea in doing so.

I can see us making back to the Premiership. With our current set up developing into a focused football club with a financier more focused on slowly slowly get it right rather than a Cardiff or Birmingham situation I can see us going all the way.

The current financing of football is unsustainable and I think we will reach the Big Bang in the next 5/10 years that will see a revolution in the way clubs are run, financed and players are paid. The resulting playing field will see. More equal opportunity for well run clubs and more money put into grass roots football like in Germany.
