And the current game between Liverpool and West Ham with two foreign managers resting their best players sums up everything that has gone wrong with it.

Can't argue with that.

R5 said Bournemouth had made 10 changes for the Portsmouth game.

Bournemouth shouldn't have more than 16 fuckin players.

Things really are getting desperate now
not desperate just stating reality
many a play offs gone to penalties
and has the best team always won
hartlepool outplayed the pigs , up to the dive for the penalty and daft red card
extremely shit side went up that year
only stayed up 2 seasons

Wigan will win the league im certain of it but there's still a lot to play for. That's where the frustration comes from mostly, the league is fucking piss poor yet we still look miles away.

It's there for the taking
It was there for the taking.

Play offs still a possibility but we will need more by way of consistency to make it so.

Can't deny I p*ssed mi'sen when their third goal went in. Love a massive defeat.

Best laugh, on BBC News channel, just showed all the cup goals, when the pigs first went in, the camera picked up the shirtless fat oaf called "Tango", laughing and pointing to the Shrews players. Wish I could have seen his fat ugly face as their third went in. Fat Bastard.

again if

we dont sign anyone
its monday that could change your view then

Four or five players capable of filling these roles I mentioned above there would be a chance. How likely is that then before the window closes? We should have be doing it from Jan 1st.

Capable CB
Box to box midfielder
Creative winger
Centre forward

We have lacked those roles all season. Why can't the board or manager see that? Why can't you ?

Tad early to be thinking about a penalty shootout let alone the playoff final. We have to secure a place in the top six first, hopefully as early as possible to be able to rest our best players. None of those scenarios look likely at the moment but we live in eternal hope.

they know exactly who they want
the problem is easing them away from their clubs
getting players to drop a division always needs more patience
as Adkins says we need quality not numbers , numbers we had

eg dan burn Fulham trying to sign a central defender , holding on to him as insurance
got to wait

I've not followed this entire spat but where has he said anything about getting players to drop a division?

There is quality in this division if you have the nous to look for it, like Wigan have for example.

If we can't afford four players from Crewe, Torquay, Chesterfield and Macclesfield then its time to shut shop.
I'm not saying those four are the answer but they are the type I'd like to see come in.

The problem is Coco wanting his old mates in.

hes stated we dont want just numbers
we are focusing on getting more quality
crewe and macclesfield players wont improve on what we have

Id rather we got just 2 decent players than 5 straight replacement , changing room peg wasters

Morsy would be an improvement on anyone we have had in Centre mid for the last two or three years.

It's piss poor every year danny.

So are we.

No signings and rumours of a boardroom bust up. Just what we want.

How many thought that when we went to Donny for some tosser called Deane who no one had heard of?

So following your logic we'd have never taken a punt on a gangly striker from 4th Division Doncaster Rovers in summer 88.

football was different then , all teams had some decent players , the top clubs didnt like chelsea hace 30 odd players out on loan
Ian Rush was Chesters jewel , today hed have been on the bench seat 6 at Stoke
teams had squads of 17 or 18 so there were better players lower down , now they are like rocking horse sh,,,manure

and to be fair we hadnt long been out of div 4 our selves in 88

realism

weve shown we can compete with any of the top clubs
to win the play offs you dont even have to win games , only penalty shoot outs

were yeovil good enough hell no
and why do you go on like we will never improve
weve lost one in 10, if we get 10 per cent better could be enough
results over performances
plenty of others have done it like that

No. This is exactly the kind of blind optimism over reality which boils my piss about Unitedites.

You make is sound like we are shitting on every team in this league with your 'one loss in ten' sophistry. It's actually wrong anyway:

24/11/2015 2 - 4 vs Shrewsbury (0 points)
28/11/2015 1 - 1 vs Barnsley (1 point)
13/12/2105 1 - 0 vs Coventry (3 points)
19/12/2015 1 - 0 vs Scunthorpe (3 points)
28/12/2015 3 - 1 vs Bradford (3 points)
02/01/2016 2 - 3 vs Peterborough (0 points)
12/01/2016 3 - 3 vs Wigan (1 point)
16/01/2016 2 - 1 vs Colchester (3 points)
23/01/2016 1 - 1 vs Swindon (1 point)
26/01/2016 0 - 0 vs Blackpool (1 point)

Now you can dress it up all you want. That is 16 points from 30. That is just over 50% success rate over the whole period. If you think that getting a fraction over half points is 'form' and the route to success then you are bonkers.

Our league position and 'form' is what matters. We are seventh in the third tier of English football. No amount of dressing this up with 'stats' and happyclapping will make me believe that we have been fucked over by this board. And if you think that selling our best players has been something positive and nothing to do with our position then again, you need your bumps felt.

We're not far off div 4 2016

Unless we bring a few players in, I assume we're going to be grinding out results until the end of the season. We're likely to be fairly consistent doing that and will probably finish 5th or 6th. I can't see us winning at Wembley playing for a 1-0 on the wide pitch.

Nice to see Clough's Brewers droop continuing and Burton losing once of their best players to QPR.
