Just to recap on the rules applicable for this weeks selections. If both people don't select winners in Week 5, then they both get to pick again for Week 6.

Fixtures valid are any League 1 or League 2 games to be played on Sat 7th/Sun 8th Jan.

Would it be an idea to set a poll up in the General Blades Chat section, brownie , to get an idea of numbers? To also get more people interested? Once people see someone winning something, they'll want a piece of it.

I've decided that after this competition is done i won't be doing another one this season, however if someone else wants to organise one then please be my guest. I just don't have enough time to do it week after week, and the original purpose of this comp was to raise a bit of extra money for Foxy and Linz towards the running costs of this site, and to give someone a nice little bonus which either CHL or Slug wil be getting in the next few weeks.

This weeks selections.

Both coolhandluke and Slug selected Bolton as this weeks selection, so to speed things up and bring a swift conclusion to this competition both have picked three teams in order as a tie break. If one players number one selection wins and the other loses then the winner is declared as the winner of the first selection, and then on to the second selection if a winner can't be decided on the first selection and third selections if the winner can't be decided on the first or second selections.

Just for clarity, if there is a postponed fixture, then both corresponding selections become invalid and it goes on to the next selection

So these are the selections

First Selection
Coolhandluke - Portsmouth
Slug - Colchester United


Second Selection
Coolhandluke - Carlisle Utd
Slug - Norwich City


Third Selection
Coolhandluke - Tottenham
Slug - Wycombe
