Can someone enlighten me on some of the follow.

Bradford home end tickets left.

Chesterfield.how many sold away end.

Bradford.how many sold / how did they get.

Many thanking youse.

Chessie have sold their allocation which is the bottom tier of the BL stand, so about 3,648 approximately I'm guessing?

Only single tickets in the home Family Stand remain for the Chessie game. Everywhere else is sold out according to OS.

If you go on the official site and then follow the link to tickets, then home games you can see, without logging in, the seats available in the home end for the Bradford game. There are quite a few left, especially in the BL Upper and Kop wings. I'm guessing attendance will be about 24k for Bradford in total.

Had a look on various Bradford sites and only found that they were sent an extra 50 tickets.

Lets just see if "Netting fc " were allocated more seats than chesterfield.

Chessie haven't sold out and imo are likely to sell 1k at a push.

Fair play to Chesterfield if they've managed to sell over 3000. Was honestly expecting about 500 given they'll be down & watching our promotion party.

I agree with the 1k mark.
Die-hards only, why would you want to pay out £20 plus for someone else's promotion party.

Don't forget the Bradford games is on Sky, as sponsors of the league I would think they would prefer the trophy to be presented at a live on SKY game.

I see your point but can't see it happening myself.

They havent sold out their allocation. Three of Chesterfield fans I speak to at work have said that they arent going and dont expect more than a thousand will go

Hope we can somehow recall some tickets on the bottom tier to sell to our own fans, if they aren't going to do so.

Can't see it happening though.

I would be very surprised if the League 1 champions are presented the trophy before the last game of the season.

The bottom tier only holds 2,990
And for a few seasons now with netting on both sides we only sell 2,200 with 800 seats made unavailable.
I expect Chezzie to sell about 1000, so there will be 2.000 empty seats in there.

If our capacity is 32,700 subtract 2000 in the Chezzie end, subtract about 200 restricted view, subtract about 100 single seats in the John Street stand, subtract 50 nettted off on the South stand bottom corner.

So that means against Chezzie the gate should be 30,350.

Sounds about right, So our attendance will be the capacity minus what the BL bottom tier holds, then add whatever chezzy sell.

Bert isn't going so that should read 30,349.

I think its a few more than this, especially in the SS. Anyway, the minimum the club could do is remove the netting from these areas and concentrate the remaining Chesterfield fans in the centre of the BLLT. Around 1000 empty seats either side of them is enough of a buffer ffs.

The trophy is presented after the final home game of the season.

This only varies if it hasn't been decided early and it can then be presented at the final game of the season be it home or away.

The presentation will be at the Chezzie game, don't let anyone tell you other wise.

The point I'm making is we've declined City more tickets on the basis we'd sell them we'll look clowns if we don't.

A bit like us kicking off at MK for more tickets when they'll have empty seats ....
To a point, but I think it's acceptable for us to have "500" spare tickets in the away end - if that's 2,500 Blades who otherwise wouldn't have made it.

If the ground's half empty then it's another story.

No mate. Chesterfield may have sold an allocation but not the one you quote. Their support will be measured in hundreds.

As for Bradford I'll be astonished if it isn't in the area of 28,000.

What was the Pigs crowd against Newcastle, please, as a matter of momentary idle curiosity?

Someone said 24k I was basing on that.

There was 28,883 at their game with over 3,100 Geordies and a few 100 Geordies in the home end.
25,000 Pig fans in attendance for their most glamorous match of the season.
