Earlier comments/reports (if true) suggested a move back to the Blades would be based on sentiment rather than further career or financial advancement.
He could still go to any of the best and highest paying clubs in the world, if he did even consider coming here, it would be based only on emotion

His current salary is 8.3m we can't afford to buy a player for that , so unless city paid his contract up , it depends on the pull on the heart to play for us in the premiership
