Thought he said he end his career with us? Is he planning to be 38 when he rejoins?!

I think a return has to be now or never. He's evidentely on the decline now but he would obviously still be a major improvement to our squad. But in a couple of years his legs will be gone and he won't be near as useful as one of his biggest strengths is his speed.
Not sure what has been said earlier in the thread, but it’s this transfer window or never for me. He could come here for five months on a reasonably lucrative deal then still go to the Saudi league and make a mint before he retires. This idea is predicated on the understanding that Wilder would want him in the first place.

The return had to be last time we got promoted but he ended up signing a new deal at City.

4 kids….. a wife…..a mistress…..big Divorce case pending!!!!!! He’s going to need as much as he can get = contract in Saudi Arabia!

Why? Even if he does get divorced and loses half his wealth he’ll still probably be worth £10m.

Doesn’t change my point! I’ll be gobsmacked if he comes back here now for a fraction of what he’d get overseas.
Think it’s now or never for him to come here. Can’t see it.. but if it’s even a remote opportunity/chance, we’d be absolutely braindead to not even attempt it.

There was some tabloid story doing the rounds on Twitter/X yesterday that his wife is going to hold off on the divorce until she signs a new contract in Saudi for multiple hundreds of thousands of pounds a week…
With that in mind Kyle might prefer to sign a £40k/week contract with us to piss her off 😂

Six month Saudi deal, earn enough to pay her off, come home in the summer.

Lines up with 'explore the options to play abroad and end his career” at United.

FWIW, the wording 'explore the options' means nowt, really. Just saying to his agent, see who's sniffing.

I think he is going abroad, it’s a no brainer in terms of money

Not sure I want him here when he is 40 lol but I like his dedication in trying to breed an entire youth team one day for United

He’s not going to be coming to us in the next two years. It’s crazy to think he would be.

Guardiola made a point about Walker asking him to let him go play abroad.. he mentioned it 2/3 times so to me it seams like Walker has asked to leave and out of respect the club are sanctioning it on the condition that he goes abroad.

Someone mentioned doing 6 months in Saudi.. to get around tax laws I believe you have to be there a year at least. Henderson cut his time there short and ended up walking out of the country having earned £0 due to this.

As I’ve mentioned before too the flow of players to Saudi seems to have slowed dramatically.

I think it’s highly likely he takes a pay cut to move regardless of where he goes with Saudi being the one exception.

Her dad John is a blade

I'll stand corrected then, I seem to remember me and John always arguing about football, felt sure he was the opposition, maybe we were arguing about how crap the Blades were at the time, it was a long time ago (mid-late 90's)
