More chance of a takeover than signing Kyle 😂 which ironically is what we need to sign a half decent player!

Somebody must have persuaded him then.
I think slavery was abolished some time ago!
"While teams have to come to an agreement on the financial aspects of a transfer, only the player himself can decide whether to move or not. He might already want to move, but he has the power to decline a transfer as well.
Nobody can force a player to sign a contract that he absolutely doesn't want to, even if the selling club is able to be somewhat persuasive by telling him he won't be involved in the team if he stays."

(See Section: The Player)

He didnt want to go that has come from numerous family sources
He was also bored shitless when he first moved to London

Maybe.
But the Kyle Walker then was probably more easily swayed than the Kyle Walker now could ever be, so different circumstances.

Ohhhhhhh, FFS who really thinks there’s a 1% chance of him coming here if Saudi’s are or are not interested.

Keep it real peeps, contribute to the “Free and Loans” thread

What has the Kyle Walker of today got to do with things
You originally said players have got to agree / want a transfer otherwise it wouldnt go through
I gave you Kyle Walkers sale to Tottenham he didnt want to leave BDTBL

When we’re competing against Bayern you know the budgets not 20 million 😉

Someone should tell Bayern that they've no chance of signing him as he is prepared to sacrifice his career and pay City millions to play for us.

Bayern also likely to face stiff competition from the pigs, to be fair.

But he obviously signed a contract with Spurs, so someone, somewhere persuaded him to leave Sheffield United.
His family probably know who and how.
What I meant was that the younger inexperienced Kyle was probably more susceptible to pursuasion than the current Kyle will be

it's amazing what this hot weather does to people's brains... Kyle walker come on...really😆

Stranger things have happened and usually leaving people who ridiculed the thought with a great deal of egg on their face

Agree and hope your right pal but there's lots of things what don't add up to me, wages spring to mind were obviously skint and I just don't get how it all fits in with our budget.

Name one “stranger thing” than us resigning Kyle Walker before he’s 40 that has every happened.

Come on Blade56 , that’s a proper tap-in question.

If I start with our league position when the 1939/40 season was abandoned because of world war, where would you like me to stop?

We are Fulchester United, after all.

So it was all a dream?

Yes, apart from the bit about playing for England

What have bayern got that we haven't??

Well Billy has gone, Enda Stevens has gone add their wages up that goes part way and then it all depends if Kyle wants to accept that pay cut. It depends on City too lots of ifs and buts at the end of the day if Kyle wants to play for his old club, the club he supported as a kid..If that’s what he wants it could happen. I’m sure talks are going on behind the scenes…I’m hoping you get that egg ready mate lol

He said he’d finish his career with us, by all we know he could be playing at the top level until he’s 36, i think we will be his final club either in the PL or championship, and at that point it’ll be more like Jagielka’s second spell

I'm a lad from arbourthorne, I have no desire to return to their out of a sense of nostalgia, I'll reflect happily about my time there and not slag the place off cos it's where I came from, but saying something and then actually going back there are two different things.

I'd love it if he did decide to come back here, I just can't see it. Maybe after this season, but he's still one of the best in the world and can demand the wage and prestige of playing in Europe. He'd be crazy to come back to us.
I doubt if he came he’d be living back in Sharrow
