Kyle Walker

With all due respect, a few people have said/suggested this on the thread, but what's wrong with that really?

Were I a footballer, I'd love to play for United, but I wouldn't necessarily do so if another club of comparable size/status offered me more money.

As Roy Keane said (in a different context) "it's his job" - plenty of people would take a higher paid job than a lower paid one, plenty would have other considerations. Horses for courses and all that.

I'd love him back, as he'd be a fantastic player still at our level, but I can't see Burnley letting him go.
Nothing wrong with it at all but its getting a bit tiring reading articles of him whimsically saying hed love to play for us like it's put of his hands. He would be better off saying nothing as we all know what he really means

Unless Burnley tear up the contract it's not even a consideration
Would imagine there will be some sort of relegation break clause in there, so that they can get him off the wage bill.
McBurnie had a similar one at Las Palmas I believe.

A lot of Burnley fans say he’s been poor
Imagine they have probably mainly due to their squad they have in front of Walker. It's a lot easier to look better in a Man City side when you have quality players around you. He will be playing at the level that is around him and being older he would have lost that bit of pace so when it comes to covering for any CB mistakes, its a bit harder.

He's probably got one or two more seasons in him at Championship level, think he's done in the top flight. It's now or never for him to do a Jags I reckon

Would have been thrilled to see him back for this season, on the fence about next season, any season after that would be a no thanks from me. You’d think next season would be his best chance to get his ‘dream move’.

Well, after this afternoon’s shitshow- what odds KW will fulfill his dream move back to BDTBL this summer?
Well unless he is coming back as player manager or player coach
with FULL control of team affairs and tactics
He can F OFF.
Wilder may want a team of over 30's and has signed three for next season Rockwell, Rotweiller and Bamford to add to Mee Ings
(he was clearly instrumental in those DRASTIC
indeed TOTAL reversal of transfer strategy as he planned his return)
but I do NOT want to watch a team of journeymen on their last pay day retirement bonus.
STROLLING through games like Bamford did yet again that first half on Saturday.
Are you (general SUFC fans) REALLY so thick as to look forward to this brain dead childish stupidity?
Saw it years ago with Bassett and the geriatric donkey Cork and us being his pension plan.
THAT got us relegated as I predicted.
Wilder needs reminding this is SUFC and a business investment for the owners.
Not a team of Sunday morning mates out for a lunchtime drink away from the wife and kids.
GET HIM OUT NOW FFS.

Capt Obvious, he might just be the leader that the squad would need next season
